From what I understand, his direct answer would have be a big NO😕 If she had purposely kept the murthis and had created the kaand then he would have been angry and harsh on her too for breaking the harem rules. Smart thinking😉 His dialogues indirectly also indicate that if in the near future she wishes for the Hindu baandhis to enjoy their freedom of keeping murtis and praying in the harem, then all she needs to do is come to him for a discussion and he will do the needful😉

I tried to put myself in his place 😆.but can't think of any answer...

Ela this is all the result of his white lies to pacify ruqaiyya...and this gave her the arrogance to openly insult and act against jodha...he need not tell her his feelings but if he had defined her position in his life ...ruqaiyya would not have dared to openly hurt or humiliate jodha..rukku is super scared of Jalal's temper and always wants to be on his good side...see the ben track...both her and MA crossed limits with Jodha coz Jalal supported them and never reprimanded them...and now after ben track he has sudharofied but ruqaiyya still thinks she can get away with it...so now when Jalal has to openly define the relationship it will hurt her and break her ...coz it is too late...
