Aanchal you may be right! Historically Ruq was in charge of the harem always. So I think Jalal will allow Jodha a test period and then Jodha herself may see that Ruq is a changed and chastened person and ask the haremites to re-accept Ruq, and then Jalal, after being pleased with Jodha's handling of the harem, may give Jodha some bigger and better responsibilities.

Mansi, beautiful write up.👏👏 Yesterdays episode was a surprise package, wasn't it? Before saying anything about Jalal and his wives can I just say I loved Salima. How more dignified can this lady be. So calm and yet told Ruq all we as viewers want to tell her. 👏👏

Mansi, we al thought Jo will win the election and then give the Harem back to Ruq but what a reversal of events..thanks to our Shahensha who knows very well how to make his two ladies dance to is own tunes without him being shown partial to them and others.👍🏼 Jalal played his cards well.😆

So do you think Jo will be given five days to prove her capabilities? Then that's when Ruq will stoop more low in tricking to make her fail.😛

Yes exactly Abie! As always you have summed it up in a neat nutshell! This was grand and exactly what we wanted. Salima just gave us laddoos in both hands! And as for this crooked Jalal ... love the guy! My God, what a master strategist and what a way to handle both wives - he's getting his way done by knowing how exactly and how much exactly to poke others!

He knew Ruq from childhood and now he's knowing Jo too which is why he knows exactly how to make them dance to his tunes.😆😉

mansi awesome analysis and you made the episode so much clearer now...i was also confused about the last scene ...i thought he did that so that ruqaiyya can go directly and challenge jodha which makes her accept this responsibility ...but reading your take ..it makes so much more sense...i just hope the cvs show us why Jalal did what he did today...

yes the episode after boat ride was an indication that Jalal does not want jodha to think she is enroaching anyone's territory...and she cannot keep on backing out for others hence his reverse psychology to her ..also she has to pass through fire to come out shining hence ruqiayya needs to push her ...handling harem or any administration is never easy ...and this is jodha's first step towards her bigger role in managing fleets ,shipping business and tax dept...

but i think that she will take up the 5 day challenge ,do her job marvellously and then decline the offer of BEK (this term has become so confusing now) and give it back to ruqaiyya...but she will prove her worth and then maybe Jalal will give her bigger roles...

but the issue for me here is that ruqaiyya is not a sport like jalal is...she is never gracious in her defeat...and will not take this too graciously besides Jalal is completely unaware of MA instigating her...so this may further rile her up and cause her to do something extremem...MA is going to play and she will destroy ruqaiyya in the process

yesterday salima ka forewarning kind of indicated that...ruqaiyya will fall from grace and this is going to happen ...Jalal is at his patient best right now coz he cares for both of them ...but ruqaiyya is testing his patient and for how long???

the best scene yesterday was salima and ruqaiyya...awesome

ruqaiyya was her worst with her yesterday and the way salima reprimanded her with so much class ,grace ,dignity...you could see the difference...both are timurid princess but see the difference in their conduct...loved the way salima gave it back and she did not even have to raise her voice

the best line that salima said was something that summed up ruqaiyya of the last 11 years...

you kept on harping that shahenshah has no heart and in that process you seem to have harden dour own heart...

this is what has happened...hence inspire of all the power ,position ..she is neither happy nor at peace

i absolutely detest her belittling and treating others as animals but then i feel sad for this insecure ,lonely girl too...she has hardened her own heart and has mad herself believe Jalal has no heart and cannot love another...

her audha ,her power is her identity and strippping her off it would be the final nail before she topples over the edge courtesy MA

hence i had hoped halal would have sat her and spoke to her and explained to her and given her a chance instead of taking it to the level of a competition ...she listens to Jalal if to no one else..whatever he feeds her ,she believes even his lies...so he should have spoken to her and mae the harem give her one more chance ...

he is yet not aware the extend of her jealousy and insecurity and by the time he fathoms it will be too late...she is like a ticking bomb and MA is ready with finger on the button ...and unfortunately jodha is the target again

I dont kno if its only me.. But I felt that the 'hand-holding' with ruq was majorly bcoz she had dared to point at the shahenshah too in her all consuming anger nd ego in wich she evn forgot her ettiquettes nd the respect she has to give her husband evn if not the shahenshah.. Similar to wat ruq did with salima begum, but in a more physical way..! So she was out of line here nd as we all kno, Jalal does hv a teeny-tiny soft corner fr ruq too.. Nd like ruq has said many times that she only has jalal as her real family.. So jalal does understand that.. Nd knows he cant shun her outright watever she does.. So I feel in holding her hand, wen she dared point it at him while talking, and then that 'chutki scene' later on, he subtly but surely showed her that with him she has to be in her limits..! I dont kno if u guys agree.. But I felt that while watching the scene.. Nd of course.. I totally agree with the last para written in bold.. He wants jodha to get more importance in his empire nd his life.. But being a shahenshah, he cant b partial.. Also like I said b4.. He understands his responsibility towards ruq.. So he's not goinf to shun her or publicly demote her himself.. Also, mayb jalal does realize that if he supports jodha outright, the haters might plot against jodha nd their relationship.. So he's being careful in not showing his love ,affection nd preference fr jodha publicly not more than is necessary.. Nd jodha being the sweetheart she is wont evr want to tread on wat she considers sm1 else's territory.. Nd she's clearly not in awe nd want of power nd audha nd fame nd all worldly vices.. So yea.. The only thing that cud hv solved the knots is Jalal's teda ways.. Which m totally njoying..!! ;) Nd yea.. The way he warns ruq to not to take jodha lightly cud b bcoz he has full confidence in jodha nd mayb also that he wants ruq to start respecting jodha nd mayb evn fearing her rather than treating her like dirt..! Overall, lovely analysis skanda12.. M glad to see ppl like u spreading positivity amidst the whole current negative situation..! =)
