the major thing i felt was bad editing... the sequence of scenes should have been different... RukLal scene should have been at AkDha scene and vice-versa... the episode should have ended on Jalal's sentence that from tomorrow, Jo has lot of work to do... it would have been more effective , telling more abt his true motives in both scenes... akDha scene came first, and so many r confused abt Jalal's true behavior...

now let's hope , that after Jo takes on harem responsibility, he stands by her when she needs him...

He was not shocked at people suggesting Jodha's name for the haram's supervisor. If he looks shocked in the precap then it may be misleading...he has full faith in Jodha's ability to manage the haram and when Jodha denied to take up the new responsibility he instigated her so that she could agree to take up that responsibility. When Jodha went, he said,"Sleep well Jodha begum, you have to do lots of work from tomorrow onwards..."What does it mean guys? He has actually started believing that Jodha will be the new "Mallika-e-Khaas".😳

Now the question arises why he went to Ruq. Friends, she's his friend. He don't want to let her down. She has been managing the haram for long & she's proved herself very well. Doing justice to his love he can't do injustice to his friendship. He's preparing Ruq for the competition as he wants fair competition b/w the two so that Ruq couldn't blame him for favouring Jodha. He knows Jodha is a strong fighter & he understands that Ruq might lose so he's preparing her for the defeat. If Ruq loses after fighting equally it won't hurt her more. I m loving this track.😃

A food for thought question for you all: What else could Jalal have told Ruqs other than what he said?

- He can't say you will lose to Jodha

- He can't say you will win ...

- Instead, he said you have stiff competition from Jodha- beware.

Well said! The more I think of it, the episode was not that bad except the love story did not progress. Love your point on how Jalal now cares more for people and knows they need love and respect- that is the progress he has made.

I loved the last scene where Jalal very smartly gives it to Ruqu's and it is not because he doesn't care for her or because he loves Jo. He is actually behaving like one "Nyay priya and praja loving Emperor".

***i wouldn't say today that there was no progress in love story, there was, actually Jalal knows how to make Jo accept responsibilities and he trusts her that she can take up responsibilities, that is also a kind of progress in their relationship, he wants to give her power and position.
