It is always possible that Jalal tells Ruqaiya ' u go in and sleep, I will come and join you' and never goes in, and Ruqaiya dozes off in her tiredness having walked for the first time in her life, and then wakes up to find that Jalal is not with her. Don't be in a rush to blame the guy who is so crazy about Jodha. He will do nothing that will endanger her in any way. Let us wait for the scene to fold out before we decide.

about the sleeping thing lets just wait till monday. 1st of all he wasnt present during ruku-jodha conversation & maybe for a sec. he might have thought jodha didnt wanted to share the same khema. 2ndly, regarding safety im sure he is not going to leave her alone outside. i mean common guys he didnt left her alone, even when he hated jodha. for him safety of his each nd evry begum matters. he even fought with the tiger for jodha & at time he wasnt even in love with jodha. & now when he is in with love with jodha, no way he will compromise with her safety. so i req. lets wait till monday before reaching into any conclusions.

I agree, my dear. He should have put his foot down and told both to them that Jodha cannot sleep outside, she is not well and it might not be safe, even if Hoshyiyaar and the baandis Ruqaiya had brought along would be there (the soldiers escorting her would have been left behind). We can all sleep in here on 3 separate bistars.

He did assert himself when nullifying Ruqaiya's orders and returning her hoojra to Jodha , He also insisted today that Ruqaiya could come along only if she came as a commoner (with 2 baandis, Hoshiyaar and the khema, of course!).

So I would have expected him to assert himself now as well. But I do not want to comment on it till I see the precap in context in the Monday episode. It might then look completely different.

For one thing, Jalal very likely assumed that Jodha would not have wanted to share the khema with him and Ruqaiya. It is a perfectly plausible assumption to make. It would be most uncomfortable for 2 begums to share a tent with him.

Secondly, he might have gone out very soon to persuade Jodha to come back into the tent, using the safety and propriety arguments to overcome her reservations, and found her already uneasily asleep.

I am sure he would have gone out at once to check on Jodha and what remains to be seen is what he does when he finds her tossing and turning in the cold. I do not at all think he would either let her catch a bad cold, or expose herself to any risks by sleeping outside

This apart, the whole scenario of the cross country journey by these aam janata is plain nuts. Do see my response above to AJSharma79.

Jodha was right in her place, she was dignified. There was no point arguing with the ruthless Ruq.
Ruq getups and see Jalal not next to her is what is annoying me. How can he just go sleep next to Ruq leaving Jodha outside. Even if Jodha says wants to sleep outside how can he leave her alone. What about her safety?
And it was very clear in her voice that she is hurt when she said she will sleep out and Jalal knew it. Isnt it high time Jalal stands by Jodha. Yes, he need not come in between 2 women fight , but when one is insulted shouldn't he. Forget insult, its her safert here . Hope they don't let us down on Monday.

ruku was quite tolerable until the last part, but then cvs can't retain her goodness more than 5mins, :-D:-P
well the first scene was very good,in contrast to the last one in Ajmer,where jalal prayed for her every wishes fulfillment..and then her the dupatta biting,shy half smile and she ran away, jalal's amusement to see her and how his happiness flew away as soon as he saw ruku..and as his expressions were not enough,he started comparing with jo and praising jo, even in the dinner making scene too, ruku was sitting peacefully beside him,but he had to talk something that ruku would go and burn roti and her hand both.. may be the bed was really too small to share between a teddy and his thin wife and he had to shoo her off,btw,the way she claimed her share in the bed,it cleary highlighted their friendship, it was so evident that ruku and jalal always shared everything like best buddies,and if jalal ever tried to enjoy something alone,ruku rightfully demanded her share like we do with our besties.:-D:-D...and when ruku doesn't drag jodha in between, i feel jalal gets amused with her childish talks like a caring guardian to a tantrum throwing child..from the moment when she demanded her share in the bed to her whinning about clothes and then jalal's added statement to it was hilarious,but all through this jalal had the expression as he is very much used to this things and it doesn't bother him..:-)
phew..enough rants..

Completely agree with you. Jodha was dignified and respected Ruq and Jalal relationship. She gave them privacy and tried to be nice to Ruq.She cooked for all and infact made Ruq serve the jail hui roti to Jalal.

It was evident from Jodha's whimpering voice that she will sleep under the stars. Could Jalal not comprehend this?

Point is how can Jalal sleep inside the khema when he had explicitly stated to Ruq that they would travel as commoners? How could he lie beside Ruq knowing fully well that Jodha was outside alone and in cold? And this man loves her more than his life? what happened to the soul talk?

He can clearly stand by his own decision of travel as commoners. Ruq can either follow or proceed as BEK.

Disappointed in Jalal esp after the thread tying scene.

Like Rajat amases me by his acting, so do you by your writing.

Aunty, please write on the first past of this episode. And i dont like anything after Ruq came.

Many felt Ruq-Jo cooking was cute. But i didnt like. I think i have became so obesses with Ja-Jo that i dont want anyone to come inbetween, be it his friend .
