yes she can be selfish when it comes to other women in jalal's life & i also agree she should learn to respect other women as well. but the point is tht the inconsistency which was always shown. few things r really not necessary. with all her flaws, we cant also ignore tht she slapped hoshiyar when he told her to kill jodha's baby, despite ruku hates jodha. even when jo was in serious condition she was worried about her. & also she handed over the chanderi property to salima. despite all her negativeness she has been shown as an intelligent women, who is not totally a bad person, just like we say about jalal. so she cant be put down to maham's level or she cant be shown as a cruel person. jalal should fall in love with jodha bcoz of jodha's gudness, not bcoz other wife is not gud or sumthing.
***As of now, Jalal is in love with Jodha for what she is and not for what Ruq is, he still keeps her in high regards, so what happens in future will not be because Ruq was good or bad, it is because they both love each other. And she giving Chanderi to Salima is because she knows how Jalal feels about Bairam khan and if we all remember, she always said that she plays with her brains and she controls Jalal with her brains. So it is also because of that. And Ruq never feels insecure about Salima, because she knows that Jalal will not fall in love with Salima, as she is BR's widow and he has that respect for her😉.
