Sorry I would slightly differ on this. One of the prime reasons why I feel we can relate more to Jalal's character, is because the Ja-Jo story runs from his POV. I have pointed this in a lot of threads that there are many flashbacks and self-talks given to Jalal. So it is more easier to understand him. The insufficient self-talks given to Jodha, puts her position down. I mean, the CVs could have always projected her to be a proud Iady who would not apologize to him personally, but they could have definitely shown her acknowledging his good action while thinking about them later on. But they rarely do so in her case, making her an ungrateful person.
One of the recent self-talks was when she was enjoying the company of Jalal and she saying 'how if he said that I was prettier than Ben' That's all. They are starting with Jo's self-talks now I think, but they have already created disdain among Jo and Jallu fans.

This FS issue😆 I have been reading different threads silently, trying to understand this Fathepur Sikri issue. I read Shyamala Aunty's post and quite agree with the reasoning on why FS was developed. Then I read history_geek's post which was similar in kind. Lately I read skanda's analysis where she wrote that Ela made a call to Zee asking them about FS. They replied that it is true and that it was indeed Jalal's gift to Jodha that was envisioned quite early on and for proof they referred the Akbarnama. Now according to history_geek there are 4 Akbarnama's around😆 So I am waiting for more news😆 Who knows what and when Akbar exactly spoke about FS😕

well. there is one more to add, the shove and SKLL , for which the apology is still pending..
***She can be uncomfortable for life, but she needs to apologise and the shove and SKLL comes later, her act of removing bullet took him to death bed, when she is not saying sorry for it, will she say for her bhashans? And more than saying sorry, there is no self talk from her for her past behaviours, Jalal did think and apologised, for Jodha, we need to atleast see her feeling sorry about it, if not saying it.

***Agree, but again making Jalal apologise also is CV's creativity, so Jodha is no different. So, why Jodha is not being bashed for not saying sorry, but Jalal is being bashed left/right/center for his apology was not as expected? it lacked something😕

Oh yes,
When Mirza Haakim can be of marriageable age at this time of history, when he can be Akbar Raam's perfect Lakshman and Man Singh's best friend,
When the Mughal Chief Empress and Babur's grand daughter can be a screeching banshee
When Akbar himself can be such a pathetic administrator flustered by his own laws and be jobless and keep lobbying about the corridors of the Agra Palace for most of the time
When Raja Bharmal's daughter can shown to elope on the day of the intended wedding to the Shahenshah's brother with a commoner
When Moti Bai a dasi can talk to the Emperor on equal terms
Well, Fatehpur Sikhri can also be envisioned for Jodha, the great by Akbar and the construction advanced by 6-7 years . Salim Chishti, Chittore, Ranthambore...all these hardly matter. What is important is that teakwood-pudding should be rehabilitated when they come back?
Will the Z people agree that any of the above was their total khayali pulao and had nothing to do with reality? Neither will they agree that what they showed us yesterday was also a figment of their own creativity and imagination.

Hey dear, who said that Jo is not being bashed. I have seen her getting bashed left, right and centre since she entered Agra (particularly after her no apology on tiger attack case). But I would refrain from elaborating, as I said that this bitterness has seeped in so much, that for every big or small gesture, dialogue and action that happens between the leads, Jo and Jallu fans are up in arms.
No, In fact I loved his style of apologizing.😛 Loved when he said that I have nothing to gift you but only to ask you.
Honestly, when there is a televised love story, where a hero falls for a heroine faster than the heroine, it is natural to see the hero doing the running and wooing and the girl hurting him and not reciprocating his actions. In this case, it is a love story between Jodha and Akbar. The Emperor and his begum, so the tolerance level is low I feel😆

No Pals it is not about any Emperor and his begum.
When you are dealing with a strong character in history there are some basic attributes to that personality that cannot be compromised for the sake of romance or anything else. That is what irks about the serial.
Would it be okay if Rani Lakshmi Bhai was shown as a coward or an admirer of the British in her love story and credit given to her husband for making her anti-British and India-loving, or Veer Shivaji as a weakling who was only raised to heights of bravery only by his Queen? Akbar whose administration was exemplary and ahead of his times and who is considered among the top 25 emperors in the world by The Times CANNOT be shown as an ignorant and incapable emperor who was spoon-fed each one of his achievements by his wife and all credits given to her in the name of a love story.

Sandhya,

Ekta would never DARE pull any such stunt with the Jhansi ki Rani or Shivaji Maharaj. Balaji Studios would be ransacked and burnt down by furious protesters before the police get there.

Akbar has no such protection. The only good thing is that the popular perception of Akbar the Great will not be affected by this tripe. But Ruqaiya Sultan Begum's image will be so affected.

That is precisely what I am saying dear. But if you pick two strong characters in history and weave a love story between them, then CVs are definite to falter during their act of balancing between the personality of these characters while also showcasing the saas-bahu audience their masala love story. That is the reason, why nowadays instead of listing down what Jo did or what Jallu did for each other in the past, I am now loving the fact that they are at least working towards building their relationship.
