Let me do one thing Abhay. I will chk at the Mehrauli bhul bhulaiya this coming weekend - this is supposedly the tomb of MA and AK. Let me chk if there is any local info available on this.

Let's say Akbar DID learn the truth about Mayhem

WOULD he have let it out openly?
What all she did all her kands, letting the truth out WOULD ONLY HAVE MADE AKBAR LOOK FOOLISH
That HIS VAZIR did all this under his nose but he did not get a hint

No way outing all this information would have made Akbar's image greater, in fact rather the reverse

I think after Adham's death certainly Mayhem's condition and mental state would have deteriorated, MAYBE AKBAR THOUGHT BEST PUNISHMENT FOR HER WAS LIVING

Maybe he kept her audha naam ke liya but stripped her off all powers

Maybe AKBAR LET ON HOW MUCH SHE HAD FAILED, Maybe Akbar taunted her with Jodha and his close relationship showing Mayhem how much she had failed in all her attempts

Abhay, I'm here only 😆 But there is now possibility that Abul Fazl must have removed some facts as per Akbar's convenience ! 😕 or he joined the court much later hence could not come up with correct dates. But if MA was alive till 1563-1564 does this mean she was behind the death of his twins ? As you said even Abul Fazl indirectly mentioned her in AkbarNama.

P.S : You know what, after reading your and Adi's comment I will start doubting Akbarnama also 😆

I tried this also..My friend visited BhulBhulaiya..Could not get much info..😕

Did Akbar really have dyslexia?

...My gut feeling is that he was illiterate but not dyslexic...Illiteracy

is a choice while dyslexia is a neurological disorder classified as a 'learning disability' .However I need more info before I can rule it out. if you get a chance please read my last 3 posts on myviewprem's thread Jalal-poor judge of character. Did you come across anything( evidence wise) to suggest that he may have a neurological disorder.

By evidence I mean..

Dyslexia usually occurs with other emotional and learning problems

Patients may/may not have the following

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD..poor attention span, restlessness.

may have poor memory

depression

anxiety

panic disorder

poor self esteem

withdrawan, loner, inhibited

Dyscalculia: poor maths skills

Dyspraxia- poor control on movements

dysphasia: difficulty in expressing and comprehending spoken words

Autism

Akbar probably had none of the above. except maybe the loner part...Am I missing something? Did anyone mention dyslexia before the release of Tare Zameen par? i think that he was a very smart guy...excelled at a lot things... so people try to find a reason to explain why he didnt/couldnt learn to read and write. They attribute it to a disorder... Maybe he was just a normal guy who didn't like studying( I personally know a lot of them.😊)... I am not a 100% convinced about this theory...Though he didn't sleep much ...3-4 hrs a day...can happen with ADHD spectrum...but that alone is not enough... I too dont sleep more than 4-5hrs either and I dont hv not of the above diagnosis...probably just a normal variance for him too.
