Good analysis Meghana! Loved it😛

Great post. I thought Jodha was dignified throughout. She didn't go crying to Jalal, he saw her, asked her, and she told him. Even when he said those mean things to her, she didn't flinch. And when he left the room, she calmly walked across the hojra and placed her kanha where He belonged while Ruqs and MA looked discomfited. Even at the mehendi, Jodha held her own, she was helpless in that crowd of unfavorables but carried herself with pride like a true queen should. She did not rant and rave and talk of her own importance like Ruqs did. (Ruqs to the manor born should be portrayed with more dignity, self control. and not given to these fits of self aggrandizement.) Jodha came out with flying colors today though the same cannot be said for Jalal, Ruqs or MA.

Meghana today Ja-Jo-Ruqu hojra issue was deal very well... With much melodrama, Jalaal still believes Jo in jealousy leaving agra, but JO pain words she has been told to leave the hojra for new begum .. OK I will leave no problem but at least keep that diya lightning, has hit jalaal most...

How intelligently he handled Ruqu with teda words, he is protecting her Auda and he doesn't want Ruqu to stoop so low, gives JO back the hojra & putting the diya in the place..

But one harsh word I will not come into this room nor see your face, even after your death is a HUGE statement, which he is going to break it..

The words will hit him, even if he doesn't go to JO hojra, but his heart will want to go, realization will hit him, what ever may, when she doesn't love him, nor doesn't want him also is ok for him, as he can't see her dying nor want her to die...

Jalaal wll surely will enter JO hojra, only making MA to say to Ruqu how he forget his words just for JO that time also vacating Hojra also he did it for JO, not for your Auda..

This time Ruqu will start completely believing MA, more arugements between Jal-Ruqu, telling Ruqu that he can do whatever he wants, no one can question him, and in anger he may go & live in JO hojra making him closer to Jodha...

Jalal's words were of a lover whose heart has been shattered. The worse part is that he is unable to get over it. He is the king of kings, yet does not know why he cannot stop caring about Jodha. Earlier he tried to make Jodha jealous, then tried to insult her. But, nothing helped. Now he is trying to say things to Jodha that he does not care at all, but there is so much pain in it. The not seeing her face is just melodrama as we all know Jodha is going to be close to dying state...

And yet, he cannot bear to see her eyes well up with angry tears, it takes hold of him, that almost half- heard sob in her voice..

I liked two things from the episode:

1) Jallu ordering for a search in Ben's room because of Jo's persistence and his Ammi's advice too.

2) The budding MU because of the hojra finished today itself. Jallu supporting Jo, giving back her hojra and keeping her everlasting diya back was worth it. He could detect the pain in Jo's eyes and words and did not want his beloved begum to be humiliated in such a way. He handled Ruq quite smartly while also letting Jo return to her hojra.

When he said that I will not enter hojra and not make the same mistake again, I could relate to that. THE SHOVE is all I could hear all around😊 However, what I didn't like was Jallu's big statement of not entering this hojra even if she is in the deathbed. That was really big. Why become so bitter because of the SHOVE that talk about death of a person who is actually very dear to him.😭 That was not needed at all. But I think the CVs did this deliberately for effect. Aakhir poison khane ke baad use hojre mein llana hi hai and he will be the one who will be the most guilty. The mehndi on Jo's hand was symbolic.

He was smiling look at the teer that his Jodha used to protect him. Somehow feel part of him knows that it is not jealousy for Ben, the DHAKKA does not give him the confidence to be sure that Jodha was trying to protect him. After Jodha is all and nice I wish they show Jalal recollecting these moments. We will see him laughing maybe - recollecting to what extent Jodha went.

It was a melodrama for sure as we know what's coming in the promo like you said. Shymala put it well as a comment, do read it. It was a kids rant about how he hates his mom and so on..Those words meant nothing, and that is why Jodha was not upset. She got it that Jalal cannot take it when someone tries to put her down like this...

Well said, I like all your points about how Jodha came out with flying colors. She did not want to get involved in any of the petty fights. Be it Ruqu wanting to blow off the diya, or Jalal saying I wont look at you ever or Ruqu challenging her with the audha..
She was sad and touched only by Jalal's comments, which is what I wanted. You are so right, I never enjoyed the Jodha that would run to her kanha and weep buckets of tears. I was like come on you are raajvanshi, cant keep complaining. Do something about it or figure out your feelings..That Jodha has arrived - very good take of yours!👏

An amazing take on the whole episode and with that 'so hurtful dialogue uttered by Jalal still ringing in ears' (an arrow of words which pained me , then feel for Jodha,having had realized that she loves him now, what must be going on in Jodha's mind? !! 😭) It was fantastic that you retained this level of positivity !! 👍🏼

Ya, I also liked that the hojra issue was resolved quickly. I cannot stand hopelessness and abla nari avtaar for too long. But, wait our Jodha did not act like an abla nari. She held her head high thru all the insults...
Another option is that he might make Jodha move to his room, you know if he cant keep the promise. Any option is fine, but I dont think he will stay away from Jodha..
I am pretty confident when JaJo get closer, Jalal will know how to handle Ruqu as ONLY he can make her understand.

Yes, we all know it is love, but Jalal is yet to realize it completely as love. His mind is telling him why does he even care to protect her or keep her honor intact..He was an elephant in the room indeed!
