I don't know why it took a Benzo to bring this about, but at least it's starting to emerge - this setting apart of these two from the crowd. So now Jalal is laying his soul bare to Jodha and keeping Ruq happy all in one go. How brilliant is that. Meanwhile Jodha is doing a 'Stand By Your Man'. From many angles the foundation for love is looking strong.

Love is about accepting the other for who they are and accepting that we can't help how we feel. That's beginning to happen.

You have described JaJo progress so well. They are like two precious gems in the mad house Agra. Ya, that's exactly what Jalal did. He hid his concern for Jodha by showing it off as protecting Ruqu's concern. Jodha understood that and hence his bitter words meant nothing to her. This line of yours is so touching and very true..👏

Hakim's constant lectures about Mohabbat & how it brings an Emperor to his knees, somewhere frighten Jalal. And then of course, there is his ever-present livid anger towards Jodha for The Rejection.

So no, I don't believe he does not know what he feels for.

What he does not believe or rather, wants to accept, is the Impact of it,

But in due time Jalal will realise that, True Love does not make you weak. It only strengthens you. 😊

So well put Mallika! You are right that Jalal is confused and if not for the DHAKKA everything would be clear in his head. Oh Well, Jo will fix everything by drinking you know what soon...

I too was very hurt when Jalal said those wrods. But after reading your analysis, I am a bit relieved.

Another topic, Thye showed the pearl shape(antidote) which was found in Ben's room. I feel somehow , this will be used to save Jodha. Not sure how would anyone know its antidote but will be of some use in future.

And I didnt understand why Hamida was shown to be happy during Mehandi. Has she forgotten BEn is VK or is she convinced that she is not.

You might be right, that same antidote might be used on Jodha. Agree with you, characters are so inconsistent. On one side Hamida was concerned about Ben, and here she is smiling away - weird!
