Correct me if I am wrong but I read somewhere that the famous Ram Siya coins that Akbar's treasury minted were in honor of Tulsi Das.
And interestingly these Ram Siya coins are among the highest priced Indian coins among collectors. One such coin recently went for auction and it fetched 180,000 dollars.

hi donjas...

nice to see u back..

yes...u r correct...i do not know about auction but know that ram siya coins were presented to tulsidas, due to the fact that his followers were called vaishnavites, means devotee of lord ram...

initially there was some tussle between akbar and tulsidas(i fear i am not wrong.)

but relations improved later when akbar's religious policy became more tolerant.(i mean when he became akbar...Not the time when he was jalal...😊)

Abhay from what little I have read Akbar abolished the taxation on the visit to religious places in 1563 and the Jaziya in 1564 despite their huge financial implication and also if I am right Akbar around 1564-65 decided to follow the Sul-i-kulh policy. Also Akbar had developed a restlessness of spirit and soul in 1562 - his 20th year and I think in 1574-75 he is supposed to have had some kind of a vision / spiritual conect - this event has not been very well recorded - which initially had even got him contemplating abdicating and renouncing - after which his thrist for the spiritual became more pronounced and in 1582 and after is when he is supposed to have formed his ideas of Din-i-illahi - and the most pronounced spiritual nfluences on him were the Hindu (in terms of the rules of dharma in life), Jain, Sufi and Zorastrian.

Wonder when the Tulsidas - Akbar interaction happened - bad and good!!!

Oh God...

@ Abhay : What is this fiasco about Tejwar being Tulsi Das...????🤢 Pls get into work to alleviate the absurd thought...!!😆
Tulsi Das was a Vaishanav Saint...And NO SECRET LOVER OF BHARMAL'S DAUGHTER...!!
I am surprised by the ridiculous assumption...Haven't WE heard about Tulsi Das Couplets/poems??😕
Then how come he is getting morphed into Eloping Lover??😕😕
Please spare the Saint...!!

Here it is

Hi.
Totally agreed with you. You have given positives "ONLY" .

But,SINCE today i have been asked this question, let me tell you something..

I am writing what i have read..Hope Adi. you will not mind.

1.
There is a preserved Farman under his own IMPERIAL SEAL .. where he calls H**du as '*******' , and their rel*g*ous places *** . I do not want to write.

Akbar is very confusing for me. The more you will read, the more negatives and positives you will get. Please search this farman information. I think you will get this in the JMI Lib. in DELHI (probably). (i think you have visited that place.?? ).. i can not write more.

2.
...Don't accuse me.. I am writing coz i have read all this...

3.
His Positives :: Many..👏..😊
But, if you start searching negatives, you will get them as well... 😕

4.
I AGREE HE BECAME TOLERANT..!!...
But research on his INITIAL YEARS. You will get all "THAT".!😕!.

5.
He is confusing for me.
Though he allowed his wife to remain in her religion, prayed with her and had hindu friends.
But, in INITIAL YEARS he had a clear policy, a friendship with friend and WAR with enemy.

6.
Also, read about the "RUTHLESS" Chagatai practice he followed after winning wars..😕
C*t**** of **a**.

7.
Try to find what all was done in Chittor "apart from ruthless massacre". you will get it.
What about Other Massacres..!!..?..

8.
But, i am reading history from neutral point of view. Coz truth is truth.
That's why i SEE NO HESITATION TO CALL him Jalal right now.
He became Akbar but later.

9.
BTW, if you need more such "shocking deeds", search more, you will get them.

I do not see any thing wrong in initial episodes of JA(got to know what i am saying?) (its true.. so i cannot deny it.!..)
.

10.
As you are also finding, please search all these things. You will be shocked.!.

11.
He was great BUT later..😕..Infact, you are seeing better Jalal here in these terms .!.

12.
I can write MORE.. But lets stop here..!.. Can't write more..!..
