Yes, Akbar was grey in his young age. He was no saint, but he was far better than a lot of other Mughal Kings. He even destroyed two temple , and rebuild them later. He was very moody, and quiet temperamental as shown in the show. His temper knew no bounds.

Ok..than ...
Hope no ruckus will be created...THeek hai.,..i ll post in 10 minutes...

Here it is

Hi.
Totally agreed with you. You have given positives "ONLY" .

But,SINCE today i have been asked this question, let me tell you something..
PLEASE forgive me..

I am writing what i have read..Hope Adi. you will not mind.

1.
There is a preserved Farman under his own IMPERIAL SEAL .. where he calls H**du as '*******' , and their rel*g*ous places *** . I do not want to write.

Akbar is very confusing for me. The more you will read, the more negatives and positives you will get. Please search this farman information. I think you will get this in the JMI Lib. in DELHI (probably). (i think you have visited that place.?? ).. i can not write more.

2.
...Don't accuse me.. I am writing coz i have read all this...

3.
His Positives :: Many..👏..😊
But, if you start searching negatives, you will get them as well... 😕

4.
I AGREE HE BECAME TOLERANT..!!...
But research on his INITIAL YEARS. You will get all "THAT".!😕!.

5.
He is confusing for me.
Though he allowed his wife to remain in her religion, prayed with her and had hindu friends.
But, in INITIAL YEARS he had a clear policy, a friendship with friend and WAR with enemy.

6.
Also, read about the "RUTHLESS" Chagatai practice he followed after winning wars..😕
C*t**** of **a**.

7.
Try to find what all was done in Chittor "apart from ruthless massacre". you will get it.
What about Other Massacres..!!..?..

8.
But, i am reading history from neutral point of view. Coz truth is truth.
That's why i SEE NO HESITATION TO CALL him Jalal right now.
He became Akbar but later.

9.
BTW, if you need more such "shocking deeds", search more, you will get them.

I do not see any thing wrong in initial episodes of JA(got to know what i am saying?) (its true.. so i cannot deny it.!..)
.

10.
As you are also finding, please search all these things. You will be shocked.!.

11.
He was great BUT later..😕..Infact, you are seeing better Jalal here in these terms .!.

12.
I can write MORE.. But lets stop here..!.. Can't write more..!..

13.
"...Truth is bitter...Hard to digest..Tough to accept.."...

Abhay all that you have written of Akbar in his initial years I do knw. For this let me add that for some time btwn 1582-86 he even was anti-islam. But what has come across is that he was primarily anti dogmas. But yes he did have a very interesting cruel streak in him. In fact it is also written that he had a very strong control on his temper which was a very bad one and when he was in full blown rage he was an awsum and frightening figure.

Till around 1562 Akbar was a very kattar Moslem. It is from his 20th year that he became restless but his tolerance came much later. Between 1563 and 1575 he was more of a person who had a political and imperialist agenda but at the same time he had also started looking at his subjects in a more impartial way. In fact none of the various ppl of various religions ever knw which way his thoughts lay. They all used to feel that he was for each of them!!!

As for Chittor - I would call it more of an ego issue and it remained so all along.

Regarding the Tartar blood - yes he was ruthless and yes he did practise sport which in a tolerant society is cruel. In fact he had for a very brief period even imposed the old Chagtai act of taking the wives of his officers into his harem if he wanted them!!! So yes all this I have read.

Yep..That's what i was emphasising upon...His initial years were Really something...Not worth talking...
And, not only chittor, there are more instants...We will see in show...
1571- gujarat...and more...

Syria also mentioned that temple thing above.though not 2 but more are there..

Infact, here we are seeing a very tolerant Jalal, not the ONE he was in reality initially...!...

And, i was not ready writing this TRUTH here, since HERE i have seen a HUGE support for Jalal..
But great you appreciated this truth...

But, he was the one who got reformed later...A great quality ...!...

Well said...Adi..

I read in a book the difference between Akbar and Aurangzeb. Would like to quote:

"
That's what is the difference between Akbar and Aurangzeb..!..

Both were politically powerful but a HUGE difference in their nature...

He reformed afterwards, but Aurangzeb never reformed ...!!...

"

And yes, i agree, with greater powers comes greater responsibilities. And, the one who imbibes it is called GREAT . !

I think a lot of Akbar's mood swings, and temper got the worst of him. My question how must have MUZ must have reacted during the Chittor destruction, and some others.🤔No wonder he asked he was to remind three times of decision, before he made a final one.

Infact if one sees both Ashoka and Akbar there are many parallels. Yes Ashoka gave up war altogether but the 16th and 17th century period of Akbar was not condusive to such action. Wonder what Ashoka would have done in the same period and in similar situation. Yes we can romantacise and say that Ashoka would have still eschewed war yet I do wonder!!!

Hey Abhay, I had pmed you a doubt. Could you pls respond?!?!?!
