Jalal very well knew this fact about Jodha! Without wasting much time,
He immediately went out of Harem and asked the guards to have tight security in the palace. He'll be right back after sometime.
The guards bowed down heads in agreement.
One of the guards said - Aap kahin jaa rahe hain SHahenshah to ghoda taiyar karwa dein?
Jalal was all lost in her thoughts.. he said with guilt-struck tone - Nahin ! Hum aise hi jaayenge! tum sab bas yahan ki kadi chauksi(security) karo..
Jalal came out of Palace, he took off his footwear and started walking towards the Ambe maa temple all barefoot.
If she has gone through all this, I deserve the same and much more!" He said to himself!
Part 3 :
The distance was long towards the temple and the atmosphere was chilly. It was indeed difficult to walk barefoot on rough roads or ground for any man.
But he was SHahenshah! He was above everyone. Though his feet did hurt a little, but he continued to rush towards the temple, for he needed to see HIS Jodha immediately.
After walking the whole distance, Jalal finally reached the entrance of the Big Ambe Maa Temple. He saw all the soldiers and maids of Jodha waiting outside the temple.
It was evident and obvious to him that She wanted peace, peace which could only be felt when you are alone. He could already sense her pain in her vicinity.
His heart was racing again, but he was still unaware of it. He went to the soldiers and maids. They saluted and greeted him.
Jalal was already lost in the thoughts. He asked in a furious tone - If your queen was walking barefoot, why didnt you stop her? Cannot you see the atmosphere and the rough road?
The maids and soldiers shook their heads. WHat could they do? "It was her order Shahenshah" was the only sentence they could say, enough to shut him.
Anyways, He bowed down and touched the stairs and then started climbing up the stairs.
He entered the big temple, the chilly wind blew with great impact. He could see none in the temple except the Pujari, who was preparing for the morning prayer.
Probably, it was too much an early morning for people to come and worship.
His eyes searched for her.. A lone tear rolled down his eyes as he was finally going to see her after what he had done to her.
As he advanced more towards the Ambe Maa's murti, His eyes fell on her. Finally he saw her, sitting in a far corner.
There she sat on the divine temple floor, all decked in her finery and emerald coloured lehenga and choli. She looked like a Begum, if just evaluated from her dressing code and jewelry.
But her face evidently indicated what her condition was. She rested her back against the wall, with closed eyes and a slight smile on her face, which was probably due to the
peace she as finally experiencing. She was without any shawl or warm clothing, and her eyes were glum.
He was SHOCKED to see her and her condition. His legs rooted then and there. Oh My God! What have I done to her..
He could see her eyes which must have shed innumerable tears because of him..How much he had insulted her..She looked weak..Not only physically but also mentally and emotionally..
Tears started flowing from his eyes involuntarily, but he quickly wiped them off.
It was not the time to cry, It was the time to face the reality and mend up the flaws he did..
Jodha felt a little uneasy and her eyes started rolling even when they were closed.. She could feel HIS presence.. Yes ! he was near..She could make out shockingly.
As Jalal started walking towards her slowly all lost in his guilstruck feelings, She opened her eyes..
She saw him and He saw her...Both of their eyes met each others' and the time stood still.
Suddenly, it looked like wind stopped blowing.
He looked at her with immense guilt in his eyes but He could see only pain and anger in her eyes.
She was shocked to see him here in the temple.
"Why doesn't he spare me a single peaceful moment"..She thought! Her eyes again closed in despair.
Jalal could very well read this thought and it stabbed his heart.
He went near her, sat beside her and suddenly his eyes went on her feet. They were bruised and bleeding a little.
His pain couldnt be told in words, so much guilt-struck he was. He tried to such her wound, his hand stopped at first, but then he touched her feet and tried to soothen the pain.
She opened her eyes again, this time, she had tears in her eyes. Her heart was racing fast too. She backed off her feet from his touch.
She looked at him with immense pain and anger in her eyes. Her eyes depicted the pain of insults she had undergone the whole of last week.

For Jalal, her eyes and tears were enough to realise of what pain she was undergoing. He could clearly make out that She wanted to be friend with him.
SHe wanted to spend time with him as a friend. How happy both of them were before all this happened. But now, SHe was shattered because of his deeds.
Had it been only jealousy, it would be less hurtful. But She was more hurt because of the insults he did. How He had asked her to get out of the function, how he had straightaway rejected her gift.
Jalal clutched his fist remembering his actions..
For Jodha,She could feel different feelings in his eyes. Those were different from what she was seeing in the whole last week..She could sense the guilt, but it was all too late!
Finally, Jalal tried to say something - Jodha Begum..
Jodha stopped him in middle. She wiped off her tears. Her throat choked but she said in a low tone - Shahenshah! Humein lagta hai aapko brahm hua hai...
Lagta hai aap apna raasta bhul gaye hain..Ye Ambe maa ka mandir hai... Benazir ka kaksh yahan nahi,aapke hi Mahal mei hai..
Jalal was heart-broken after hearing this, but he also knew, he deserved much more.
