When the foundation was shaken and pulled apart, everything collapsed and all that remains is just a debris and shadow of a once endearing show.We can even tolerate a bhaashan jodha and a pyaar mein deewana jallu.But we can't tolerate a capable emperor hiding behind his begum's pallu.
Jalal wickedness charm why did they have to mess with that. Are we to believe the writers think audience can't accept a man who can be like that. They have to make him into other B town heroes. Why can't Jalal be the way he was, there was nothing wrong with his character that they needed to tone him down, he was never categorically evil. And you are right the tracks are hoping from place to place, so we don't understand the change. What change has affected his brain now that he goes from watching Maham closely giving all the signs that he suspects her to now here go Mommy read my wife's letter. He might have been going gaga over Jodha at first but there was an edge to his execution he had the upper hand despite the apparent look of his running around. Now everyone else has an upper hand over him, and he is making one political blunder after an another, does he not know adaham and cheapo are in the same prison having a nice chit chat. What is worst the first legislative act of this show a very monumental one at that practically tore apart the very essence of his character.
