Hi Aunty.This track , every folly and illogicality of which you have described in painstaking detail has left me disappointed .I was so hoping to see my brilliant and clairvoyant Jalal towards the end .But alas ,it was not to be.I have now given up on deciphering these plots logically.Too much taxation on the brain.From now on I will watch JA for the pure sensual pleasures of watching a love story unfold between the handsome Jalal and the beautiful JodhaThey make a most charming,lovable and romantic couple.I do hope high that history is kept alive along the way; if not in a robust at least in a satisfactory manner and not allowed to die a painful , panting death

P.S. As for the wild eyed Jodha, she wears brown contacts.I can tell for sure, her pupil size never changes😉.

i too never accepted that there was a pre plan and all. Well its a EK show. Have seen worse from kyuki days.so unlike the new gen i could digest it.

Aunty, awesome analysis! Nothing much that I can add except that I hope to forget the last few episodes quickly.

You are so right about this:

So, it is NOT Jalal per se that Jodha now likes and respects, and whom she will come to love. It is the emperor who will have been a very successful experiment for Jodha's approach to life, a very apt and grateful pupil. He flatters her to the top of her bent, and there is nothing so appealing as flattery. Nor is there any such thing as too much flattery.

So Jodha is falling in love with the idea of her being able to reform an emperor. Not with the man who wears the crown. The difference between her and Ruqaiaya in this respect is thus one of degree. Not of the fundamentals.

Both cannot separate the man from the shehenshah, its impossible to do so. And there is nothing wrong with it at all with that like you said. Circumstances make a man, circumstances make you fall in love too. You cannot separate circumstances from one's being.

But for me Jodha's love falls a little short. Because she will fall in love with her experiment. If her experiment fails she wont appreciate it. For Ruqs, she will love him irrespective of who he is. Faults or no faults. This is also why Jodha cannot understand why BB loves cheapo. To her, she cant understand how you can fall in love with someone who doesnt share the same values and ideals as you do. So for that the king has to change,to be accepted. I wish Salima would explain that to her because her husband was not perfect either. She wont understand that coming from anyone else. Or maybe Moti can. Then it will move towards being epic. Romeo and Juliet are seen as epic. Because they fell in love with each other as they were. Neither had to change to be accepted. You can grow as a couple, but one should not see the other as in need of reform in my opinion.

Just watched the episode. Was pretty ordinary story wise but so funny to me.

Ma and her fake embarrassed laugh when Jalal asks her to read the letter

MA doing an SRK from kal ho na ho in shudh hindi

Atga Khan's expression when Tansen sits down to play music to peacock dancing

the peacock's exceptional sense of timing its dance to Tansen's entry

The idiot who put AK and SK together and those two chit chatting like present day politicians in prison

Why does Jodha's simple conversation on music sound like a bhashan? He just said he sees music everywhere too and she had turn into a bhashan where he sees another hunar :(

Wonder what she will say when she find out it was MA who invited him😆

Why oh why Jalal? Why are you so needy when it comes to Jodha? I dont know whether to feel sorry for you or be mad that you are so eagerly anticipating the night of impending heartbreak when you should be thinking of other things. Should you not be thinking of SK and AK and how close they came ?

Did you not get a jhatka with an almost divorce? How could you be so eager to thodo seemayein then? WTH!!!!! no continuity of tracks at all CVs .

Jalal, so far you have only acknowledged Jodha as a friend in two conversations. I wish you would act on that than get carried away by this letter. Which makes no sense because right now you feel only attraction for her. Why are you even anticipating anything else?

I think Jalal would have not taken the letter seriously if not for the seemayein breaking line

With a ditto feeling about your write-up with all others here, it's a relief to find you as well as some others too, seeing through the strangeness of portrayal of Jo-Ja-Ruq feelings (though that strangeness nothing to be surprised of by now...)

1.I had posted to MKM's thread about the MA thought process"...But, How come MA penalizes Jodha only for this?? It was Jalaal and Ruqaiyya who were active participants here as well...(May be her eternal Hatred for Jodha...rather than real reason...)..."

2.I can't understand Jodha's blind empathy towards Ruqaiyya...She is having Ashru in her eyes by getting one good word from her...!!😲 She looks at her with fan-girl expression...😕As if her life would have been Vyarth without that kind word from the Begum-e-Khaas..!!See. Ruqaiyya too was surprised...😆
And what about Jalaal doing loads and loads of good deeds for her and her family and now for Awaam on her request??
This Fixation of Jodha with Ruqaiyya baffles me greatly😕...with a question lurking in my mind about her orientation too...!!😆( She admires Salima and she adores Bakshi that are quite natural and believable unlike this)

3.Jodha still thinking Jalaal as Ruqaiyya's Pushtaini property is funny...but it's okay...given Ruqaiyya's Dimaag pe hukumat dialogue and MA's inputs. Seems that Ruqaiyya has to issue a NOC/LOC for her to be close to Jalaal.
And YES, her praise for Jalaal did look like a Teacher appreciating her favorite Pupil...😕rather than a wife taking pride in her husband (With the foot-long Essay on Song and Singing by her not helping in any way)

4.I am not liking the CVs making a Royal fool of Jalaal like this...that too a heart-broken one...!!
But , why does he get drunk?? It is MA tricking him or his own nervousness making him do so??😉
Can't help but notice the similarity of plot with that of his 1st Night after Marriage...😕

5.The Maulavi's discussion was a careless shot done by the CVs as I guess.

my dear,I think many days must have been passed between the divorce drama and the tansen entry,in fact a war also has happened in between,though it was a 10second war and the next second sharifu was in DEK, but we should assume that wars can't be finish within few seconds,;-);-) it's completly another matter that jo waited that long just to write him a thanks giving letter,which seemed as if the same day of her and ruku's new found friendship..hence there is no restrain on jalal's side..
