I thought that Jalal was grand in the episode. Very deeply affected in parts and very masterful also where needed. He has a new friend, that's the best part of it all! Chalo, at least we now have a "friend" status for Jodha ... but he himself has given a hint of lifelong commitment to her, so there's time I guess for friendship to soon evolve into something even more.

My hope is that if he continues to dig more wells in each and every village, by the time he comes to well No. 10, Jodha will start welcoming his touchy-feely gestures? And by the time we come to well No. 25 we may even have that SR!
