Y'days epi was very very good, Jalal was so honest yet masterly with ruqu, loved the part but loved more the soul talk and JJ part, the love is at it's purest form, no touchy-feely scene, yet, their was flowing a undercurrent of something b/w JJ which is more than a friendship, but both can't understand it till now..

sometime I feel bad for ruku, because when Jalal praises Jodha, a fear of losing jalal to jodha reflects on her eyes, and it's very clear.

He unnecessarily infuriated ruku, by comparing the gifts, I afraid that she doesn't harm Jo, and would never like that ruku reduced to a ordinary serial type vamp,.

Pallavi, I see the point you and Jaya are making about Ruq getting the short end of the stick. But I do still feel honestly that somewhere Nature of the Diivine gives everybody with a big ego a hard thump on the head. And Ruq was just getting a wake-up call from fate that if she tempts fate too much with her ghamand she herself will regret it. Its like they say: If you try to climb too high too fast, the fall will also be steep and hard!

Great analysis. I have been reading your writings for about a week now and I should say I started seeing Jodha Akbar a couple of days ago and your beautiful writing motivated me to see it. It is not that I had anything particularly against the series or actors but I hate Ms. Ekta maayi's creations and her polygamy ideas...

This series presently seems to be very good. Especially yesterday was simply superb...To me Akbar is kind of boyish man...the way he is so so loving towards the people close him makes him look a little kiddish and the way he handles his duties as an emperor makes him look a rock solid man. Rajat is doing a great job indeed.

I love Jodha and Ruqq both...both the actresses are do full justice to their roles. Since I have not seen the earlier episodes, I really don't know who salima is and the little rahim is????if u r free please do tell me.

Fab analysis! Yesterdays episode was so, so beautiful! Jalal showed so much honesty. Hamida wanted to play fair by making the gifts look somehow equal but Jalal went back and announce Jodha's as the best. And with honesty again he told Ruqaiya that Jodha is also becoming like a friend.

There's this dialogue that I loved..when he said he can't wait till the next day to talk to Jodha. Aww! And the million dollar smile Jodha gives Jalal now adays, ehh! Am loving these two!
