Thanks Shyamala. Yes I have seen that episode again and again and that woman may not be Bakshi Bano - that has struck a lot of us, especially, as you say, because Sharif calls her "woh aurat". It could be a female accomplice, yes, and in fact some people have even suggested that Bakshi herself may have been in the kitchen trying to mix an antidote for Jodha to counteract the poison that she may have suspected Sharif of administering! But the one confusion in my mind is that the same bakshi bano (her eyes gave her away) came in the burqa to the Hakim and asked for those four drugs to mix into a concoction, and if that were the case she was not mixing an antidote? So while it looks like Bakshi is not the woman Sharif is referring and it looks like Bakshi was the woman in the kitchen with a good motive, who may that woman be who asked the hakim for the 4 bad drugs?Accha, regarding that stormy night, considering that jalal is again and again saying Jodha was a more than willing participant, I am even beginning to wonder if he was right again in a way! Could it have been that in her semi-conscious state she was less restrained than usual, and did act seductive (thus making him right in saying she was making advances) while he may have stuck to his promise too and wrapped the black cloths (thus making that part of his statements true again). There may be merit in taking both parts of his stetements as true and if Jodha can do that perhaps she may realise that he's hinting at a part of her that came to the fore when she was not quite in her "senses! And maybe she needs to acknowledge that those primal urges exist in her also and those were the ones that escaped her when she wasn't controlling herself with her full mind?

Dear Mansi,
I liked your corridors of doubt expression very much; it is an excellent fit for that scene.
I also agree with you in toto about why Jalal tries out that elaborate piece of bluff on Jodha right at the end. No other explanation for that holds water. In fact, for me, that was the single most revelatory part not just of this episode, but of the past several ones, as far as the inner workings of Jodha's mind are concerned, for we have NO idea of what she is thinking given that there are no voiceovers.
She is not afraid of Jalal, she is afraid of herself. She is afraid, above all, once he has finished his Puckish, indeed Rabelaisian recital, of what she felt or did not feel, and what she did or did not do. She is not at all sure he is lying, and that is what shocks her to the core.
As for the burqa clad female, I somehow feel that it is not Bakshi Banu, though I would be in a minority of one on this. She is seen sitting next to Hamida Banu and she is not wearing a green bangle, for whatever that is worth (which is not much, as women are likely to change their bangles to suit the dress they are wearing). I don't think it is she because it seems to be far too obvious a red herring.
The main culprit might be Sharifuddin, but for a female accomplice, he could have used a different woman. I do not think he would trust his weak wife to stay the course if there was an investigation and not blurt out the truth in a panic. He also refers to her as woh aurat, and hints that she is going to do something far more dramatic and decisive at the jashn (what, I have no idea, unless he means to poison both Jalal and Jodha) which too does not seem to indicate Bakshi Banu.
Let us see.

Awesome post Mansi 👏👏
Jyoti, I was waiting for you to come online and add your views! I wasn't sure if were in sync with what I had written!
I loved your corridoor symbolism ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.. I was wondering too why Jalal-Jodga convo is shown while both r walking through that corridoor since earlier most of their convos happened in room while both were standing standstill .. so what could b the symbolism here 🤔.. I guess the symbolism here is how both r slowly moving on and not holding back any grudges against each other and thats why they r not standing standstill in a closed room and hving their usual arguments of who is right and who is wrong but instead moving on in life and accepting the facts of life 👍🏼..Good you liked the corridor symbolism. In fact Jyoti, I am watching that scene again and again, and even the cinematography, the aesthetics of that scene are beautifully done ... the art direction, the dialogues, everything. Someone has planned it all very well! And at every turn in the corridors when they enter a new stretch they are looking at the same topic from a new angle! Superb!
Both were walking through the corridoor together while discussing about the pregnency but there was a certain amount of respect in their words while talking to each other instead of that usual bitterness which is positive progress 👍🏼... Even though Jodha did say stuffs like u r not human , u hv no emotions or shame when Jalal was deciding the name of his invisible kids 😆 , but still I dint see that usual bitterness in Jodha's words even though her words were negative about Jalal but, instead I saw Jodha was simply amused thinking how can a man b so emotionless , is he hiding something from me ?? 😉😛.. Its more like Jodha was desperate to hear from Jalal's mouth whats going inside his mind because she feels he cant b so emotionless even when she was telling him about leaving Agra after child's birth and Jalal was all cool about it 😆Felt bad for Jalal in this scene because from outside he is projecting himself as a selfish heartless man who does not care if his wife leaves Agra as long as he gets his waaris but from inside he is a broken man who knows well that even this time his child wont arrive and so all this kids name suggestions will forever remain as his fantasy only and wont b real 😭😭..But he silently gulps down all the pain inside and does not show it to Jodha only to protect his honour 😭😭.. I really hope once truth is out , Jodha tries to understand Jalal's emotions too here and how he selflessly protected Jodha's honour here by himself taking all the curse from both Hamida and Jodha
I feel sorry for Jodha ... but I also feel sorry for Jalal! In fact I am torn between the two. Sometimes I feel like baging their heads together and shouting "See the writing on the wall, you two!"
Having said that I m angry with Jalal too and I dont understand why Jalal cannot share this truth with Jodha and release her from this pregnency tension by just telling her that you r not pregnent but still u got to act as pregnent woman in this jashn till we find out the real culprit .. I m sure Jodha would hv been more than happy to help Jalal and Salima in this mission because she too will want to know who played this disgusting game with her 🤔...See, Jaya (Deejagi) has given some very valid arguments why Jalal was right. As I have written in reply, my mind accepts those arguments. But inside my heart I am simply not able to bear the cruelty that this metes out to Jodha!
Coming to that last part where Jalal lies to Jodha about how she too felt the passion that stormy night and invited him in her arms 😉.. aaah that was Jalal at his naughty and wicked best 😛 ... Well Jodha admits it or not , she does feel that desire at times being a woman whenever Jalal comes near her and Jalal has noticed this many times , and so he just gives her a small reality chk of that truth which she always keeps denying in the name of hatred 😉😛...Mayb Jodha will think of these words later on once truth is out 😛Jyoti, maybe Jalal is right that Jodha did make some seductive advances at him that night when she was not in her senses, and maybe he did control his temptation and wrap her in black cloth! I feel like petitioning the Creatives for a full flashback!

I think that the whole Bakshi Banu angle is a red herring and there is very likely another woman with eyes like hers. Why, if Mahaam can have a Lakhi as a complete lookalike, why not another female with just the eyes like Bakshi Banu's?😉
As for the Hamletian IT or not IT question, I think both halves of what Jalal now says are true. He must have used that kala vastra, and in the process, she might well have stirred and, not being quite her wakeful self, might have indulged in a little come hither act that he then manfully resisted!😉Howzzat?
