Nothing Going on between Ruq and Jalal!

I personally don't think the scene between Ruq and Jalal holds much significance in the scheme of things for a couple of reasons:

He's constantly lying to Ruq. These days Jalal is always trying to provoke Ruq and get her mad. He "embellishes" his stories of moments spent with Jodha just to piss her off and then tries to tame her when she gets too mad.This is the same Jalal that use to plot against Jodha with Ruq. After he visited Jodha he would go straight to Ruq to express his concerns or anger. Now, he doesn't seem to want to do that. He leaves his personal life with Jodha away from Ruq or embellishes the truth to piss her off.

Thus, good or bad Jalal keeps his personal life with Jodha away from the scrutiny of Ruq. Even if he's upset with Jodha he doesn't go running to Ruq to get solace. He keeps it to himself. Unlike what he did in the past. Why the change?

Plus, Jalal outright lied to Ruq today as well, or so I believe. He mentions to her that the only reason he is celebrating Jodha's birthday is because Hamida wants to. Wasn't it Jalal who informed everyone it was Jodha's birthday? Isn't he the one who created the monster? He seemed most excited to me when Rahim informed him. If Jalal hadn't said anything about Jodha's birthday to others no one would have known. When the women were in Jodha's room they gave all the credit to Jalal for the birthday. It seemed like he wanted to be in the background because he didn't want Jodha to know he did this random act of kindness. Therefore, I feel he lied to Ruq because in a way he was the one behind this whole birthday thing. It was more him than Hamida in my opinion.

Yeah I agree the "new" Jalal isn't complaining or plotting against Jodha anymore...

Personally, I don't think his intent is to make her jealous. I think he's just trying to simply piss her off, create worries for her and have some fun messing with her. He's just trying to add fuel to her "I hate Jodha" banter. If Jalal was going to fall in love Ruq he would have fell in love with her long time ago. The only reason why I feel he wants to her confess she is feeling jealous is because he wants her to know of her insecurities, which is why he's always asking her "if you are so confident then why are you mad?"

Even when Jodha showed him a little concern in Amer he said "Jodha are you showing so much concern for me because you have fallen in love with me?" We all know he was joking around and trying to piss her off. Which is kind of what he seems to be doing with Ruq, but just a bit more extremely and viciously.

But again, I know each of us have different point views and I respect yours. This is just what I feel and take away from the episodes.

This pass few episodes he actually said that he smells something burning as in jealousy to Ruku ..

Isn't that a welcome change? He's not sharing details of his life with Jodha to Ruq which is really nice. If Jalal was plotting against Jodha, I am sure he would have had Ruq be his accomplice. He always consulted Ruq before. When Jalal was adoring the sun, there was a crisis that was being discussed and all he seemed to care about was Jodha. He kept staring at her and ran to where she was as soon as he could. Only a man who feels something for you will save a reminder of you and then let you know he still has it and if you wish to retrieve it you have to come to him.(anklet).

Exactly! Jalal as we all should know by know has a dark sense of humor. He finds it's humorous to give people anxiety attacks and that's just him. He does that to Jodha all the time. He lied to Jodha by saying he slept with her and only told her the truth when she expressed her discontent and anger. Although, I personally feel what he's doing to Ruq is a bit too dark. He is really trying to get under her skin.
