It was a beautiful early morning, a light twittering sound of birds makes it so peaceful, the cool wind seems so gentle, quietly moving the leaves along with it...Early Morning orange rays from the sun through the window wake up Jalal with a smile on his face... Jodha; I am so happy today "It's Holi"...Holi is one of my favorite festival. Every year we have so much fun. Jalal asked her we don't celebrate this festival in Agra. I know very little about holi.

Jodha; Holi is hindu religious festival, It's festival of colors and love. Hindus believe it is a time of enjoying spring's bright colors and saying farewell to winter. Children and youth spray colored Gulal at each other, laugh and celebrate, while elders tend to smear gulal on each other's face. Holi is a big celebration in Amer. We have invited many Rajvashi Raja and my very good friend are also coming this Holi. Every year in Holi we used to play all day together and in night dance and dhol... I miss those days... We use to have so much fun... run out of palace... going to lake...horse riding... Since, I am married now I am stuck in palace with all restriction.

Jalal with smile; Jodha you are so innocent...you still have heart of child... You enjoy everything with so much fun...I have never enjoyed my childhood like this... I remember very few things in my childhood. Only part I remember is me and Rukaiya having so much fun together but we both had so many restrictions. We got married in so early age and my father died in early age, I had so many responsibilities...

Jalal with curiosity; tell me about your friends, Are they coming for holi?

Jodha with excitement gave information; Prince Surya Vadan from Jaipur and His sister Lilavati, and Price Dharam from kanakpur and his sister kanika are coming for Holi celebration. Surya and Dharam both is the best friend of Surajmal bhaisa. Me and Surya are very good friends. We always played in teams, Me, Surya and Bhaisa always stayed in one team. Lilavati is my best friend, we have share every secret of our life. She just got married also, I can't wait them to come... You will really enjoy their company but everyone will miss Sujamal bhaisa.

Jalal; So every Holi you all get together?

Jodha; Yes! Actually almost every festival, they all come here in Ghangor and Holi and stay here for about a week. We also visit their states to celebrate few festival... In Jaipur they have huge grand fair for once year. Every year we visit Jaipur that time and also sometime we all meet at the time of wedding and other functions.

Jalal; so you know them from your childhood?

Jodha; Yes!

Jalal; did they came for our wedding?

Jodha; No!!! With sad face... no one came to my wedding... and don't need to explain why! All Rajvanshi were against our wedding including Surya. He came before wedding to see me and He tried to convince me very hard not to get married to you. Even he was ready to talk to my father. But for me, Amer is everything so agreed for marriage.

Jalal with wicked smile; Oh!!! So Surya has tried his best to keep us apart...

Jodha; He is really my very good friend; His intention was towards my well wish.

Jalal didn't know how to react to this. Said vow! I am very much interested to meet your best friend who really truly advise you for your better life.

Jodha realize Jalal is getting little annoyed and jealous...So she decided to tease him!!!!! Yes! Indeed he is a very nice person, any girl would be happy to be with him. He is very charming and caring... He is very brave... very good in sword fight... Every time we meet practice sword together. Do you know at the time of last Ghangor when I got engage with Raja Suryabhan that time, my parents received proposal from Surya, but unfortunately that time my engagement was fixed. Lila always wanted me to get married to her brother Surya... She used to tease me with Surya all the time.

Jodha gave nice rajvanish outfit to Jalal... (Something similar to Prithvi's outfit) All over white with red border silk Sherwani Kurta and silk Dhoti with long pearls neckless and said to him; It is Holi today, I will be very happy if you wear this outfit. Jalal looked at it ask; Why you want me dress like Rajvanshi? Jodha it's just a gift from me. When we met first time, you were in Rajvanshi outfit and I wanted to see u again in Rajvashi outfit...and it's you choice if you don't want to wear it. She looked at him with little disappointment. Jalal took outfit from her and said thank you and left from there.

Jodha took shower, prayer, She just came out of the bath... her hair is still wet...She picked entire white outfit with red border all over. She put all the jewelry made out of beautiful white and red flower.

Jalal also got ready and finished his daily routine, he did Namaj and his prayer, met with Abdul to make sure, if everything is safe and secure.

He went back to Jodha's room in Rajvanshi outfit... Jodha notice him in outfit but didn't comment anything...Jalal was expecting comments from her... Jodha was still getting ready...her long shiny curly hair was still wet...She was looking divine and beautiful in white outfit with flowers jewelry ... Jalal never imagine her in flower jewelry... simply beautiful.

Jodha; Shenshah; do you remember when we met for first time? You were wearing Rajvanshi outfit... you were looking so appealing... your bravery, your confidence, your magnetic personality ...my heart stop breathing for a while...When you looked in my eyes, said you will come back...I knew you will come... don't know why but, I felt I know you forever...Jalal smiled at her and asked her do you still feel you know me...Jodha didn't answer...silence for a minute...to change topic...

Jodha ask Jalal; how am I looking with curiosity... Jalal looked at her from top to bottom... with confuse look... something is missing and took a pinch sindoor from the sindoor dibbi and filled her maang with love, now you look complete... Jodha looked at him with respect, and touch his feet to take his blessing... Jalal with surprised expression, put his hand on her head and gave her blessing. Jodha with smile; its holi today so...it's a custom wife take blessing from her husband.

Jalal pulled her towards him; with intense whisper; why just blessing? I can give you much more my dear begum. Jodha with shy look; Shenshah let me go, door is open... Jodha could feel his controlled anger towards her. They both got up and dressed and Jalal is standing by window...and thinking...why Jodha always stops herself... I see in her eyes lots of love for me but I can't understand her. Knock on the door...Jodha jiji...

Sukanya walks in to the room; she said good morning to both of them and said Jiji you not ready yet...and asked her innocently, what happen to your flower jewelry... it's all broken... Jodha and Jalal looked at eachother... Sukanya realized she asked wrong question... She changed topic...Jodha; Masa is waiting for you...you forgot we have to go to temple. Jodha with little taunting, Can you give a company to your Jijasa...day and night he is only thinking about Agra... so I can get ready quickly... Sukanya with smirk; my pleasure... Jalal gave her angry look and went out with Sukanya.

Sukanya with teasing sound; Jiju how was your night!!! And chopat game... Jalal with joking tone; kaas ye chopat hum hamari Sali ke sath khel pate? Suku felt little shy; Jiju apki aur Jodha Jiji ki Jodi bilkul sahi hai...aap dono se bato me hum him jit nahi sakte.

They both reach to main hall where everyone is waiting for Jodha... Raja Bharmal to Jalal; Jamaisa on every holi we all go to the Kali mata temple in the morning. Maina asked suku; where is Jodha? Masa Jiji is not ready yet... it will take little time. Mainavati to Bharmal; we need to leave now otherwise good time for pooja will missed. Sukanya you come with Jodha later... suku but masa...

Jalal to everyone; I will bring Jodha to temple... You all continue... Raja; as you wish jamaisa... They all left for temple.

Jodha got ready and came out to main hall with pooja thal and saw Jalal only; she asked him where everyone is? Jodha begum; they all went to the temple...Jodha with surprise; what about me? How I will go? Jalal; don't worry Jodha begum; I will take you to the temple. Jodha; No you can't come to temple...Jalal with confuse expression; why not? Jodha; I don't want to discuss about it... but you are not coming to Kali mata temple. With his sharp memory Jalal recalled conversation, how his soldier ruined Kali temple in Amer and took jewelry from their and Jodha fight with those soldiers. And that was the first time he heard about Jodha.

Jalal; I know why you are saying no... But what happened in the past was very sad... I understand now, I was wrong... I have disrespect your religion...but that time...I never thought I was hurting hindu people's feelings. I hated Rajvanshi and to take revenge my soldiers did this crime.

Jodha with sorrow and guilt with tears in her eyes... I took a pledge in front of Mata that I will cut your head and bring to her feet for dishonoring her respect. And look at my destiny, I am so helpless.

Jalal looked at her with sorrow... Jodha; please take me to the temple. Without any word Jodha and Jalal reached to temple... Jalal; took off his shoes, crown and sword, gave it to Abdul and went inside to the temple. Jodha; was surprise with his action. They both were alone in the temple (due to safety, no one else was allowed in the temple). Jodha did prayer and Aarti... After that Jalal went near the Mata's Murti and apologies for his immorality and sin. He bow down for his mistake and promise that he will always respect all other religion and request for forgiveness on behalf of Jodha for not keeping her promise... Priest was watching Jalal's guilt and apology, he came to him and said you have pour your heart out to mata...you have put ego on side and bow down to her... you have fulfilled Jodha's pledge, and gave his blessing to Jalal. Seeing this big change in Jalal...tears rolled down from Jodha's eyes. Jodha could feel change in Jalal... when they got married, he was arrogant and egoistic king... little by little his heart was opening toward humanity. They both got blessing from priest for long and happy marriage life. Jodha looked at Jalal with content look...without any communication Jalal knew how happy Jodha was feeling. After confession to devi mata Jalal was also feeling more relived and happy.

They both reach at the palace and Moti came running towards; and said Surya and his sister lilavati with her husband Raja Sangram singh is here and dharam and his sister should come here any time. Jodha was so happy to hear that... and with eagerness she asked moti where are they? Moti; they all are in big hall with Raja Bharmal. Jodha in excitement started to walk fast towards palace. Jalal was watching Jodha's excitement... Jodha reached in the main hall and hug Lilavati and both wish each other for their wedding. Lila introduce to Sangram Singh, suddenly Jodha realize in excitement she forgot about Jalal; looked back Jalal was watching Jodha... Jodha called him; Shenshan can you please come, I would like to introduce to my best childhood friends. Jalal notice while eating, Surya was frequently looking at Jodha and was trying to interacting with her. To tease Jodha; Jalal said to Kanika; but this time you will play holi with us right? With excitement Kanika said; yes sure!!! Jodha gave annoy look at Jalal. Finally their lunch finish... They all decided to rest for a while and get back together in hour.

Jodha; Shenshan why don't you take rest also. Jalal said I am not tired I will finish some important work with Abdul and Jalal left. Everyone else left with Jalal other than Lilavati. Jodha and Lila were very close from beginning... they ever single secret of their life...Lila said Jodha It's been long time we have not talk... if you not tired we can go out for walk

Lilavati and Jodha went outside to walk around and sit on a bench. This bench was located outside of the hall. Jalal was sitting on a sofa waiting for Abdul...he heard Jodha's voice from window...he saw Jodha and Liavati sitting outside talking to each other... he could hear their conversation clearly.

Jodha; Lila, are you happy...How is your hubby and his family. With happiness Lila said; I feel I am luckiest person on the earth... he loves me a lot, he cares about me and my in-laws are also very loving and caring, I visit every Sunday to Jaipur. Jodha; do you know he loves me so much, he has promise me that he will never marry again. He treats me so special... When I request him that I wanted to come here to see you, without question, he dropped his important work and agreed to come with me. Jodha; I am so happy my dear friend found her love of her life... Lila but you are so nice and caring anyone will fall in love with you.

Lila; Jodha how is your life. I know probably it is difficult for you to adjust in Agra but I saw in Shenshah's eyes, he does care about you. Jodha; didn't know where to start from... Jodha; Lila, I never imagined that my life will change this drastically... I wanted simple life like yours, I envy you so much... I am queen of Hindustan but do you know that... Jalal has three official wedded wife and more than 500 women in his harem unofficial. Everything is so different in Agra... some time I feel like I am trapped in Jail... Women's has so many restrictions... No one knows about our culture... Jalal even didn't know meaning of AArti, Sindoor... tears in her eyes... I have not told anyone... but we have not consumed our marriage yet... You know Lila, I love him so much that I have fear, if I accept him I will not be able to leave without him. He doesn't love me but I know he likes me a lot... He cares about me but still I don't know if he has trust on me. Lila... his one little touch making me crazy... I want his love... I just want him to love me ... I will not be able to share my husband... I don't want to wait for him months see his one gaze... but that is my destiny... I have to share him between 500 women, so I have decided that I will never let him come close to me. I will keep my distance so, I never feel possessive. I know he has to fulfill his duty. Jodha was so much in pain... this is first time she was able take out her fear and feeling to someone... Lila hugged her with tears in her eyes. They both were so much in sorrow couldn't say a single word.

Jalal was shocked... he didn't even imagine that what is in her heart and mind. He didn't know, she has a fear of losing him and that is why she keeping herself away ... Jalal was feeling aching.

Jodha; Lila, I love him so much... that I can't imagine my single minute without him but he doesn't love me and he will never...I have a fear once I give myself completely he might not come to me again... what if I am just one time... Lila; Jodha don't think like that, I saw in his eyes care for you. He likes you... Jodha; He will give me everything but not his heart. He claims that he doesn't have heart. If I accept him then my expectation will increase... It will kill me if I have to wait for him days to come to me. In current situation, we don't have any expectation with each other.

Jalal realized what Jodha wants, Jodha want's his heart and love... now he knew what is stopping her. He realized how possessive she about him... She can't share him with anyone... he didn't know how to react to this.
