Completely agree that the characters are being butchered ...

Both the characters are shown to be the torch bearers for their religion, family , clans

jodha has to think about everyone's welfare except her spouse and even if she does think about him , she has to add the amer disclaimer ( I only think of you welfare from the point of view that if something were to happen to you amer will be.blamed , my father my brother my Ameri's... Will be held responsible)

Jalal tries to be romantic at times but this emperor doesn't get it at once that his Jodha begum doesn't understand his kind of humor she always takes offence... Boss mend your ways whether u genuinely love her or want her to fall for you for some other reasons. She simply doesn't want to take your hints, and even if she does her first love Amer comes in between . He simply doesn't understand that he needs to switch off shehenshah and switch on Jalal when he is with her ... And accidentally if he is himself the for some reason or the other madam snubs him and he goes back to being the emperor whose ego has been hurt.

Another point ...last two episodes Jalal seems desperate to hear she is concerned about him ... Couple of occasions he has said so.

It seems pretty odd that Jalal has been reduced to some Bollywood movie hero trying to sneak into a ladies function , the saving grace is they showed him enter dressed as himself not by covering himself in some dupatta trying to hide his identity ...also there are no partners in his crime like mansingh accompanying him in this

Lastly I was wondering which mehendi were Jalal's saali's referring to be the most beautiful ... the one jodha has is a circle and some finger tips covered ... What was so amazing about it

By the. Way didn't understand why they were trying to show as if ppl at time couldn't put mehendi properly all of them were pretty bad be it javeda , Sukanya or the mehendi on the kids hands, if the show is said to be fiction , why so much authentic in the mehendi.

A very very cute dialogue was -

"Aap to Jodha Begum ki Chotti behenein ho. Aapse to darr lagega hi." With the most cute expression on his face! 😳

I was all like- 🤣

He finds humour in every situation esp when it comes to Jodha. And it seemed like that was a half-truth. 😆

Time & again, Rajat goes well beyond the script! 👏With his own little added expressions & nuances.

Pallavi as alakh said that I don't always support Jodha...I like both of them and also critisize both of them when they ar wrong...Jodha seemed very insensitive to me just like her mother Mainavati...Like mother like daughter...

I also feel baffald over Jalal's behaviour...Why is he bending so much? Doesn't he realise that Jodha is plain rude to him...Why is he going to watch her dance( not a good dancer she is😆) ? It is his fault that Jodha insults him and gets away with it...He is encouraging such behaviour from her...

One more thing it is not just Jodha who is disrespectful towards Jalal...but also Maina and youngest sister also even if just behind his back...He is shehensha-e- hind and Ameri family treats him most shabily...

Where is your dignity Jalal?😡
