Jalal knows he loves Jodha as he confessed to Ruqaiya as he has always shared his true feelings with her. He considers her his confidante and friend. Ruq never saw the heart in him which Jodha did and her beauty had already blown his mind away. He is perhaps portraying a different person to Ruq+ MA becoz he knows that they wont like his changed feelings for Jodha and also this is unveiling them in front of him. He is finally seeing the true colors of MA. He is deliberately giving all this a "Siyaasi rang" the truth is Jalal wanted to go with Jodha to the temple to be with her. The visit to Ajmer Sharif had been peaceful for him. What he did in the temple was straight from his heart. Jodha will probably have a change of heart after the ventilation.

On precap, not sure, whether Jalal is playing or he knows he can deal with the situation.

Amen to that...😃 The Pre-cap gave some hope to us...let's see what the Cvs come up with now tomorrow...😳!!

BTW: Jalaal does care for Jodha and that is clear (if not exactly Love but he cares deeply) and his explanation to MA was kind of half Truth...But true partially...He does want to Rule the hearts of People but he carefully edits that He wants to Rule the Heart of his Baaghin first of all...😉
Obviously yaar, the same hiccups he had in telling Ruqaiya the whole Truth ...After all, he is the Shahensha and is supposed to be above such humanly emotions...so the poor boy chooses to keep his deepest feelings to himself...😛

I don't think Jalal's confession was true, we know he laughed it off. He isn't in love with Jodha yet, he is just attracted towards her - but he is slowly & steadily progressing towards 'love'.

But what's the use of portraying himself in a different light to Ruquiya & Maham? One day or the other everyone will get to know that Jalal has started developing feelings for Jodha.

True that! He went to the temple without any such 'siyaasi' motive. He respects God no matter what religion it is.

As for Jodha, she is mellowing down, 'ghrina' phase is coming to an end.

Precap is some funny moment may be? 😕

Yes Jalal has developed feelings for Jodha, but the feeling is still unknown to him.

Maham's verses today were very significant...they pretty much signified the joint grudges that Akbar's courtiers had against him for being so lenient against the Hindus...😊

Unlike her usual scenes with Javeda, MA's lines today made sense...they can't show a love story between a Hindu princess and the Mughal king without all of this...it'd make no sense...😕

Why should Jalal be the same with everyone...aren't we different in different roles...as a homemaker, there's no way I'd be able to balance my children, husband, housework, friends, family and IF if I weren't different to different people at different points of time...he has to balance the entire Sultanat!

I'm different person as a mother as I am when I'm wife and a friend...😊

When it's done negatively- as a means of hurting someone - its hypocritical...when its done positively - as a means of balancing life - its called diplomatic!

Also the smiles you were referring to dear...it looked more 'victorious' to me than 'evil'😳 He wasn't misguiding MA in anyway..those were his true thoughts...why so confused...its true that he respects his faith, its true that he respects others' too...its true that he wants to expand the sultanat, but its true that he doesn't want to do so by plundering others..its true that he plays politics, but its true that he does so without causing the others much harm!

The mark of a true Emperor this^^^
