Jodha sat gloomily in her khema that had been recently put up by
the servants as Jalal announced the night break ... for the journey to Agra was still a long way to go...

(Jalal moves towards Jodha's chamber...)
As he violently moves aside the curtains...he sees Jodha sleeping on the bed...
she was still in her wedding dress...she still had all her jewellery on... the numerous necklaces she wore had left marks on her delicate skin... her gold bangles engraving their design on her wrists...her cheeks bore the marks of
dried tears...
...Jalal was drunk...as he moved forward...his hand struck a vase kept nearby and
he immediately
threw it to ground...Jodha got up in fear... startled by the sudden sound and movement...As her eyes met Jalal's...
she sensed his not so good intentions by the evil look on his face...
She immediately drew forward her ghunghat as Jalal moved forward...before she
could alert herself... Jalal grabbed hold of her hand and pulled off the ghunghat rashly...pulled her close...
Jodha-(in an anxious tone...)
Ye...Ye aap kya kar rahe hain shahenshah...hamara hath chhodiye...
Jalal - (firming his hold on her hand...he reached for her waist with his other hand...)
Hum shauhar hai aapke...
poora hak hai hamara aap par...(giving an evil smirk...)
Jodha - (in a pleading tone...while trying to free herself...) bhagwan ke liye
hame chhod dijiye...aap ye thik nahi kar rahe hain shahenshah...
Jalal - Aisey kaise jaane de aapko...aap hamari fateh ki nishani hain...
(he closes in on her...their faces mere inches apart...just as he tries to kiss her...
jodha pushes him with all her force...this angers Jalal
even more and he pulls her again as she tries to run...and corners her against a pillar...
holding both her wrists tightly...breaking her glass bangles in the process... As Jodha struggles to set herself free...the broken glass pieces cut into her skin... making her hands bleed...Jalal moved closer and closer...having tried her best
to from her wounded hands to free herself...when she didn't find any escapade... she painfully closed her eyes and desperately moved her face sideways... ...just as she felt Jalal's lips approaching hers...
