You know as much many women might not want to admit it. It's a universal fact that girls are sucker for bad boys, and hope their love will turn them in to angels. I hope I don't slipper by saying this. After all, We are very nurturing creatures.

A friend who has done 2 degrees was complaining to me the other day, another how bad the job market is & how he belongs to a "middle class family unlike you"

And then followed up by saying "oh but you're a GIRL, it doesn't matter if you get a job or not , your husband will take care of ."

I felt like puking INTO the phone!!! 😡

DOn't u just want to take your phone, and hit his head with that. No wonder, it took us so long to even gain these rights we have today.😡🥱

Noor Jehan might have but another fact is-Men couldn't handle her. And her Power.
Today's men cannot handle women being better than them can you IMAGINE how they must've felt in the 17the century?!!!

She was very intelligent, very beautiful, kickass in EVERY way !!! She was the only woman who had coins minted in her name , she hunted, was kind, compassionate & looked after hundreds of widows & orphan children!! She had the Mughal royal seal with herself which meant that every Farmaan in the Mughal world was first read by her even before the Emperor!!!! She was Emperor, in all but name.

I LOVE this woman!!! 😳

@Malika E Bhais, Yes, the feminist in us girls in this century will def kick in .You know when Fatima was pregnant with somebody else child in this show once. I felt sorry for her, and sided with her. It was wrong of her to claim the child as Akbar, but you can't imagine why she did it? The question arises why should she be loyal to man who only showed up to her chambers once in a while?🤔

@Bornthis way, yes for our generation this is unfathomable. Wonder what would happen if could go back in time, and one girl from this century lands up in Akbar's harem? Let's say a very feminist, bold, and a beautiful one. Maybe, we would have time travel love story.😆Sorry am a sucker for impossible love stories.😆How would she change some men thinking?😆

@ Vicky, it's so hard to imagine that woman were nothing but object of carnal desire for these men.🤢How we were treated like garbage, and not respected. I despise how the men of century thought that we were subordinate in gender to them. How we were just their damn possessions. Even a lot of men in this century think like that.😡As much as I love U.S., I hope someday we can get the Equal Pay Act pay Act will be implemented soon . Because even a country advanced as U.S., women get paid less than men. It's sad.

I don't even wanna imagine myself being a part of that horrific Harem. Not even a single day would I have survived there. Either I would have committed suicide or formed a Mahila Morcha over there 😆

I always stand against story lines which tries to convey that a woman changed her arrogant husband. For a change I want it to be the other way round. But this love-hate stories always attract me. 😛

@Clumsy_W: I DID!!!
The fact is this- However much men might say that, they love strong, confident, articulate & intelligent women the truth is- They just cannot!!!

A women can be all of that until the time she is "tamed" by the man. Or in very small doses.
😡

And I see this EVERYWHERE. 😡

It's easier to find a "good boy" but extremely difficult to find one who is not sexist. One who is a feminist is next to impossible I fear!!!!!!

God. No wonder people think I hate men. But I don't , they're so very amusing & entertaining 😆

That means her marrying Jahangir was a blessing to the mughal court and empire after all, which would have sunk long ago... Its true, she had some exceptional qualities that is undoubtedly worth praising.

I don't find Nur Jahan as a villain, but as more of a grey shaded woman.I find her fascinating.

That reminds me of Queen Hatsheput. Some men could never handle that a woman had reigned Egypt for so long, but also under her reign it had flourished. They did everything to erase her from the history , but still they could not.
