Thank you, Munni, and you have summarised the dilemmas on both sides very neatly.

But I think that Jodha's real problem now is that she wants to stay but does not want to say so. She would be relieved if Jalal has simply told her she was going nowhere, but he has stuck her with clear choices and the compulsion to make a decision that would be known at least to him. She does not want to lose face by agreeing to stay, so she says once more that she hates him.

This dilemma for Jodha was even more visible today, but more of that tomorrow.

brilliant post aunty as usual. actually jalal, unknowingly, had already developed feelings for jodha. even when he was blaming jodha for ruku's miscarriage, one of the reasons of his overreaction were the feelings which were developing in him. yesterday's scene also showed his feelings for jodha. on one hand he is guilty & wants to do sumthing to make up but on the other hand he wants her to care for him, he wants her to accept him as her husband. yes his ways were wrong, but his heart had started to beat for jodha. jodha's crying was for 2 reasons. 1) she might have started to accept the reality 2) she fears the society. yes no doubt she is a brave girl. but when it comes to society, in those days its not easy for a girl to sustain. thts why despite she knows tht ratan singh was helping the dacoits, she fears for her sister. similarly, if she leaves jalal, it will be disgraceful for her family. unfortunately, in those days, a hindu girl had to respect her marriage vows, whether she likes her husband or not.

Thank you, Abie. I enjoyed the episode so much that writing this was a piece of cake!

As for Jodha's dilemma, which I have discussed in my responses above, it peaked today. Poor thing, it is she now who says one thing and means another, and Jalal does not help her out , so she is crabby and tearful. Crossed wires, with a capital C, in short!

As for the tafteesh over 2 days, I was joking with Alakh and some others about Dumbledore's Time Turner, but now, after rewatching the Friday episode, I think the 2 days are between the time he comes from Salima's rooms to his own in the throes of deep depression, and the time he talks to Shamsuddin and another adviser and orders the closing off of all the exits from the fort.

Jalal is wearing the same dress as when he visits Salima, but that means nothing, for if one looked at Jodha with that is mind, we would remain on the same day, as she is always in that yellow joda!

Absolutely brilliant take!⭐️👏

Yesterdays episode was really a surprise(AkDah scene). Now waiting to see how Jodha deals with the two conditions Jalal laid in front of her leaving the choice on her.
The hamshakal part was expected but how Jalal happened to know everything before the court was confusing because he announced the court timing after he spoke to Rahim!😕
Thanks for the PMs its always lovely reading your thoughts.😃

Thank you, Paru. I cannot tell you how pleased I am that you see this exactly as I do.

But today, Jodha is in a fix, for she wants to stay, but without having to confess as much to him, and to make matters worse, she thinks he wants her to go. But more of that tomorrow.

Excellent post👏

He wants her, not so much to merely stay back in Agra, as to stay back of her own free will. To be offered a way out which she would then refuse, again of her own free will. He wants her, in short, to accept him, to care for him, to feel a sense of belonging with him. This unspoken longing, that he has not managed to articulate even to himself, is another of the things unsaid, and again not understood, at least not as yet.

@bold ,agreeing with u completely.what an analysis.wow !awesome.⭐️

Thank you, Pallavi dear, and your comments too are spot on, especially the part in blue. That is exactly what Jodha wanted to do, but now she has been put between a rock and a hard place. Today, she was almost panic-stricken, and so crabby and tearful because he did not say what she wanted to hear - which would be Aap yahan se kahin bhi nahin ja rahi hain, Jodha Begum.

He thinks she has decided to go, and in the crossed wires, he does not even get to tell her what he came to convey: probably about the Meena bazaar. But more of that tomorrow, I hope.

Your take on the first scene is spot on. The only scene that worth praise, analyse , wait for two days eagerly.

yes it's very big step for a shahensha to put aside his pride, the status he belongs and moreover his mighty ego and admits his fault. But he did it flawlessly and then he didn't loose it at all by giving Jodha two pseudo choices, 1st , which he must know that Jodha wouldn't accept as is he is aware of the fact that after he abandons her, she might have to live her life all alone, is to be freed from the alliance and get back her most desired freedom.

2nd- may be Jalal also realized that Jodha values the marriage as she stated many times that they are pati--patni, so he now wants to give this marriage a try to work out, and for that Jodha has to co operate with him.

In this whole choice fiasco, the ultimate axed person is Jodha, she neither choose the first one ever nor she wants to accept the second want for time beings.

She somehow wanted to continue their relationship as it was going till now, her rants of 'ghrina' word every now and then and sometime Jalal's surprise visits in her chamber, that all was her plan, but Jalal's options shattered her as she have to choose one between two and both are an ultimatum to this relationship in either way, either finish, or start afresh as a wife.

the rest part was total crap, so many unanswered questions, and so many loop holes. hope some of answers we will get in today's episode, if CVs intend to spare us some sanity. 😉

Your last letter from yellow dress was too good and funny aunty, 👏

Well Maham part I and part II , who is real culprit, and how abu hamza got the special knowledge of plastic surgery in 16th century, I am not so fool to invest my grey cells to find out this answers, but yaa One thing, when the old, frail man handed over jalal a book, I thought they would show us god, now that jalal has learnt reading, but thank god, it came out a pictorial book, first few pages, specially made for jalal to understand.😆
