brilliant post aunty as usual. actually jalal, unknowingly, had already developed feelings for jodha. even when he was blaming jodha for ruku's miscarriage, one of the reasons of his overreaction were the feelings which were developing in him. yesterday's scene also showed his feelings for jodha. on one hand he is guilty & wants to do sumthing to make up but on the other hand he wants her to care for him, he wants her to accept him as her husband. yes his ways were wrong, but his heart had started to beat for jodha. jodha's crying was for 2 reasons. 1) she might have started to accept the reality 2) she fears the society. yes no doubt she is a brave girl. but when it comes to society, in those days its not easy for a girl to sustain. thts why despite she knows tht ratan singh was helping the dacoits, she fears for her sister. similarly, if she leaves jalal, it will be disgraceful for her family. unfortunately, in those days, a hindu girl had to respect her marriage vows, whether she likes her husband or not.

My dear, when you get to my age, you will realise that a sense of humour grows with the years, and you learn to laugh first of all at yourself! I am glad you liked this post.

Today, Jodha was talking and Jalal was listening, for the most part. There are crossed wires on both sides, but I will try and discuss that tomorrow. Yes, I was very impressed by his apologising in the open court. I never expected it.

Yes, my dear, but we are as yet far off from any love, which is what makes this story realistic.

Now, he has not only stopped hurting her, but has gone as far as he can to placate her and make up to her for all his hatred of the past. So now, it she who is hurting him, but more important, she is hurting herself.
