But the second point. whoaa. gave me goose bumps when I was reading that Maham will contrive to make Ruqu incapable of being Mother ever. what a cruelty.!!!😲..Really power game always gets
mired with innocent blood.. I am too an Akdha lover, but still I am really feeling bad for her.

Till now I have never seen Maham start what she has not finished! Treachery seems to be her second name, not just by inference, but from what she herself has openly stated to Jodha!ShockedOuch

Lolz, I hope I am making some sense...

I am happy jodha said a firm NO to fake pregnancy...jalal taunted her for not stepping up the plate when required...but, the lie would have done huge damage...once, blown off...a lot of relationships would have been in tatters...

you are absolutely right. The foundation stone of a strong relationship can't be and should not be a mishap that might have happened to someone else very close to one of them. 😊

By the way off topic: what's your name??😊

Hey another member here cleared the meaning of the title Marium-um-Zamani..and it actually translates to 'A great woman' another translation is to the effect of 'The Mary of Today'..
This title is generally given to the Queen Mother...
That's why everyone's vying for that title lol...like the title of 'Rajmaatha'...

That's why Jodha is referred to in history by this name which sort of shrouds the reality of her religion in some historical books...
One does not need to have any prowess other than having produced the heir-supreme in order to gain this title...😃

No dear...I don't want her to call him Jalal...that's against Rajputani tradition...forget husbands, they never used to call even their son-in-laws by name...
And in India, generally women never addressed their husbands by name till this century...actually the only reason I think they've given Ruqs the pass to call him by his name is because they were best friends from childhood...and MA since she's like his own mother...
Even in the movie, the only time Ash calls him by name is when she reads out what she'd written in Urdu...😳
none of his other begums call him by his name...and the sound of the word 'Shehenshah' sounds so royal...her calling him by name Jalal doesn't ring right for the 16th century...😕 it sounds so modern...

But yesss I love him calling her by name Jodha

Also, as Superkool stated...I don't want Ruq's miscarriage to be the initiator for Jalal-Jodha's relationship in anyway...(many had stated that they would not show Ruqs pregnant since the viewers wouldn't accept it, but strangely enough they did stick to history and I laud them for it!) Therefore, I don't want Ruq-Jalal's relationship to turn sour for the sake of J-J...as long as it remains platonic I'm fine...
Otherwise, it'll make the equation seem like the king started becoming close to one begum only because of a fall-out with his main begum...and I don't want J-J's story to be that way...I want him to fall head-over-heels in love with Jodha, however cordial he is with the rest of his (extended😆) family...that goes to show that she was indeed something special and ONLY she had it in her to make him realize what the butterfly feeling of falling-in-love was...

Much like the hero who falls in love with one 'natural' beauty despite having a bevy of supermodels surrounding him all the time...that story would make for such interesting viewing...Now, if all the women surrounding the hero were NOT really good-looking then, him falling for a beauty is not as much of an impact, right? 😳

I am not sure if historically the title was given only to the mother of the waaris. I thought that was a typical Ekta twist to connect the waaris-production with the title!😆😆😆😆

Awww ok😆...hey...I just checked since even I wasn't sure...though not many others seem to have been conferred this title...the title does translate to 'Mary of the Age' ...reserved for Jodha since she gave birth to the heir apparent...which sorta makes sense hai na?🤔

Well it's a historical fact that Jodha was given this name only after the birth of Salim n no it's not an EK twist. It was indeed a title n not a name, n was given to Jodha for producing mughal heir.

I agree that the Jodha-jalal relationship should not be based on the flop show of Ruq's misfortune. But it can go something like this,(I hope):
a. Ruqs has the miscarriage, Jalal is miffed with the situation, with her carelessness, with Fate whatever ...
b. Jodha offers him her shoulder to cry on (wow, imagine that scene!)
c. Hamida decides that Jodha-Jalal should be brought together as fast as possible to both fall in love and to produce the waaris, and decides to intensify the dhamkis to take the Ajmer trek
d. Jalal buys one or two months time from his Mom saying "Please hold on, another waaris may soon be blessed upon us, so give it a bit of time".
e. Jalal tells Jodha "My mom is antsy for the Ajmer trek so to prevent her froom this crazy prarthana we have to at least pretend we are trying for a waaris, so we need to share the bedroom hereafter (although I promise not to touch you till you are ready!)"
f. Jodha is pressured to accept this arrangement for Hamida's sake
g. Hamida and Jalal hope this will all help break the ice with Jodha, and soon "waaris" will be on the way for real ... etc etc etc.
How that for a wishful screenplay! 😆😆😆😆😆😆

So I'll say cvs have lost all sense if Jodha is shown to be holding this title from now , which'll be totally against history.
I understand that they need to change d name, but they shouldn't resort to incorrect desperate tracks.

Awww yesss...we all want Jalal to get closer to Jodha as a result of this......I don't think you'll have ANY protestors there...
However, I want their love story to be taken slowly...since thats what the USP of the show is...

Even in the movie, Jodha-Jalal became one only towards the last 45 minutes...though they were never really as antagonistic to begin with...I love this current stage of nok-jhok and a tinge of friendly/blushy/teasing smiles amidst all of it...I'd love watching sooo many more scenes like the Arthi and sword fighting ones...the impact of these nok jhoks are sorta different after a couple actually become a 'couple' don't you think...

also, one more thing...Salim was only born 7 years after J-J's marriage according to history..and yes they both did go to Ajmer to pray for a waaris just before that...so technically there's still time for that...

P.S. as for this name problem...I have no idea what she plans to do..for the first time, I think I'm feeling sorry for Ekta..😕
