I loved ur post 😳👍🏼
1. Loved the flashback, who ever thought that behind an Emperor theres story of a lonely boy. He has everything an an emperor but the childhood that he lost n wanted will never be the same for him ever. Hes really lonely inside. Ruqaiyya being his best fren n wife was fast to note why did he made such decision...n she was indeed right... Somehow i felf ruqaiyaa felt bad as well as she could not give him the love he craves for... she just plays mind games with him but his heart is left untreated...😆 theres wer Jodha fills in i guess 😆... I really hope in future Jodha tries to get to know Jalal more, this guy story is fascinating & sad as well...
2. Im happy that Jodha did not wait to see the softer side of Jalal... Its good in my view... N she went to her Kanha...😆... I would like to see Jodha falling for Jalal even though with thoughts of her hes cruel... That would be fun... Even she knows his cruel like she claimed her heart cannot stop loving him...The battle between love n hatred in her heart... n then later when she comes to know his softer side loves him even more...😳... ATM let them fight, argue do anything...😆
3. Queen Elizabeth 😳 10q for sharing it with us here. Ur post has always been informative.

I am glad that we are on the same page on Jalal. The blindfold is really on Jodha right now, you know. Jalal is doing pretty well on his own, now that Bairam Khan's harsh influence is gone, plus he has retained all the useful things that his Khan Baba taught him. Jodha, on the other hand, has her mind so closed against Jalal that it is immune to facts, and would take a blowtorch or TNT to open it up!😉

Aha, a fellow PR aficionada, is it? I have stopped even watching it, after sticking to it for all of 3 years, some months back It was the pits.

I'm sure it will take a lot to open Jodha's mind in a positive way towards Jalal. I feel she just doesn't want to budge in her opinion of him.

I also stopped watching Pavitra Rishta many months ago, but I had to watch Purvi and Arjun get married. I was hoping to see the same magic as before, unfortunately it was not the same anymore.

Good analysis and the write up.

The way CVs are writing/showing Jodha's behavior just to show 'hate drama' is pathetic. If they continue for another 10-15 episodes on same line, perhaps people will start hating Jodha!

For you Shyamala Aunty 😊😊

Why cant we think that Jodha said "shehenshah ke maan ke liye" only to showcase in front of her parents, that she really is very happy in Agra and following all the terms/rituals Wink

Aunty, your fantastic analysis for over a month...has finally triggered my mind to come up with random thoughts 😉

Once again, a lovely analysis!!!👏👏👏

Very well written post...

There are so many bloopers in the show...and it is irritating...but till its possible...we should just ignore nd notice the best in it...else its impossible to watch any hindi tv serial...!

Well..the episode carried its wow bits and they were potrayed brilliantly...!

U have said it all related to the Jalal remembering his past and getting all emotional -
.Jalal's emotions outbursting in front of everyone was a treat to watch...just in few minutes he transitioned from a Cruel King to this ordinary guy...Its difficult for a person to be two extremes that Jalal is ...Rude/Shrewd...and Emotional/Caring. He as an emperor cant really be the latter...and he hasnt really found somone with whom he can be the latter...Jodha is going to bring out that in him!

The flashbacks were a treat actually...especially Mahamanga and Jalal...how i miss those two...nowadays its all Ruqaiyya and Jalal..!

I for one cannot understand why Jalal needs to force his Shahi firman on her; it seems to have become a matter of his ego now.

Yes it exactly is a matter of ego...every rejection of jodha for his every deed...hurts his ego...nd he has to get his way...atleast once..lolll

I am pretty sure that when the Motibai vs Adham Khan case comes up before Jalal, and Mahaam Anga fixes the evidence as she did in Malwa. Jalal will pronounce the death sentence largely to force Jodha to accept the firman after all and use it to save Motibai's life.

Dunno how its gonna be...looking forward to more of interactions and true faces surfacing rather than just a farman in action nd sorting things out!

thx maam fr a wonderful analysis again!😛

yess jalal's soft side n his emotional wounds opening up in the diwan-e-aam were as endearing as unexpected!😳
his character is coming across as more complex n well etched than a monochromatic jo!

Thank you, my dear Pallavi! I am truly flattered.

As for your alternative explanation, it is a very plausible one. I missed out on this one myself!

thank you so much for this post and please do take care of yourself

i do agree with you completely ...Jalal would have already embarked on his path to Akbar had the people around him not misguided him or stopped using him for their own purpose...he does have a heart and a very empathetic soul along with the astuteness to be a benevolent ruler but the influence on him has led him astray and this is where jodha will come in..she will be that light which guides him towards his destiny and fill his heart with selfless love and care...

my heart went out to Jalal in that scene and thankfully unlike Jodha i did get to watch the next scene or else i would have landed on this forum cribbing like she went to kanha😆...

as you and mansi have most of the time pointed out...Jalal ka angst and fear to acknowledge he does have a heart stems from his childhood rejection and jodha rejecting him just opens up those wounds...he does care for her and hence he wants her to care for him and her nahi nahi abhi nahi drives him up the wall sufficiently provoked by Ruqaiyya and there is no reason why he would stop listening to her nonsense now when all his life he went to her for advice (i miss smiley's ruqaiyya so much and i keep whining about it)...she was so sharp yet gentle in her dealings never this outright vampish

the episode was good with jodha for once talking about shahensha's maan instead of starting ehr another rajputana speech...she handled herself with dignity unlike the mallika e nothing khaas about her who goes huff puff

my whole issue once again is with Ruqaiyya only...she is the perfect example of an idle mind is the devil's workshop😆...i mean, is there any person on earth about whom she actually speaks good from her heart or mind whatever

she did see his pain ,understood it but sadly she never does anything about it...she has absolutely no emotional connect with jalal inspite of being his best friend all his life...she plays mind games with him, excites his grey cells and fans his larger than life ego and in return he gives her whatever she wants...

if there was any person who could fill that void in his life ,it would have been his childhood mate ...but alas she never took that effort ,she never tried healing him instead she spend her time pleasing him and still does that...her understanding of the situation was matter of fact nothing emotional or personal ...she knows he is lonely, devoid of feelings and life goes on for her keeping a tab on his nights and the other begums in the harem

so if jodha enters it is because there was always space for a third person between them thanks to ruqaiyya herself...it is not destiny or events but she with her overconfidence ,arrogance ,ego and absolute lack of foresight who is going to propel this love story and by the time she realizes it jalal would have surrendered himself heart and soul to jodha and she would stay the friend and the mallika but still feel the emptiness and void for the first time

the older ruqaiyya would have sensed the shifting tide between jalal and jodha and like MA understood that under hatred lies something deeper for both...atleast would have been alert with jalal's non stop harping about jodha...any woman would have been on alert hearing and seeing her husband so affected by the nayee begum...
