Thanks for another of your informative post. I have my own reservations for the actor playing Maan Singh though. Sometimes it seems he is just reciting the mugged dialogues without any punctuation marks.

Anyways the biography does seems interesting. And it will be even more interesting to watch Jalal taking Maan Singh under his "chatra chaya" & bestowing him with all the powers in his army.

You never referred the books that I had asked for, in the previous post.

I am sorry .. that I couldn't reffer the book to you.
Because there are are more than 600 books in my Pa's library 😕 so it will take some time to search for the author 😳 please be patitent . The book's name is Law Of Karma 😊 but author i have to find that out 😕 maine paha tha before 6 yrs .. then now i have to search in my library 😳

Definitely a very interesting historical figure. I'm looking forward to how Jalal will mentor him - his little Rajput protege with a destiny of service to the empire if history is to be followed. I can't get my head around how he ended up back home as king of Amer, though. I mean Sujamal lost the throne even while he was there to keep a claim to it, but somehow all of Bhagwan Das' other sons and nephews just let Maan Singh come and go from Agra without contest?

Maybe I'm overthinking it 😛 😆

yup He was definitely a great figure. And He was there in the court for a long time 😳 I also love the character 😳😊

Thankee for the info riti 😊

But as far my reading is concerned, Man Singh did not want to sit on the throne himself but he and some other people wanted Salim's son Khusru on the throne because Salim had already rebelled against his father and was infamous for his lifestyle and his way of ruling the area in and around Allahabad.

According to some Rajasthani annals (Annals of Boondee), Akbar wanted to poison Man Singh and prepared two capsules - one with poison and one without poison. But in agitation, Akbar took the poisoned pill and ultimately Akbar died for it.

According to other source, Akbar wanted to poison someone called Ghazi Beg. But there has not been any substantial proof that Akbar poisoned himself by mistake. According to official version and as believed by many, Akbar died due to gastronomical problems.

The perception about Akbar trying to kill Mansingh seems to be stretch of someone's imagination because Akbar has been always considered Mansingh as one of his close friends and Mansingh too, never rebelled against the Emperor even though he had got chance to join the rebellions against Akbar.

Most importantly, if Akbar really wanted to kill Mansingh for whatever reason and found that it's him who has taken the poisoned pills, the Emperor would have surely tried his best to reach his goal and kill Mansingh but that did nothappen.
