Yes, my dear, this week has been exceptionally good for us, and we are all going to get severe withdrawal symptoms come Monday next! I loved Jodha in the khanjar scene, as you would have seen from my post, but not in the breakfast scene, where she should have helped him at once, like the dutiful wife she claims to be, and that with a calm, detached air, like a nurse with a difficult patient. That would have left her on top in the cat and mouse game. Pity that she sulked instead, which, to my mind, fully justified the trick that Jalal plays on her, and then lets her know that she has been fooled.

As for the Kunwar Pratap here, no amount of sarcasm would suffice. He is a disaster from the first frame.

You should know by now that writers, amateurs like me or professionals, are all vain about their work, and can never receive too much of genuine appreciation!😉 So there is no way I can have too many of your 'lovely post' comments.

Yes, I do put in a good bit of effort into each, and that is because in less than 6 weeks, I have grown very fond of all of you, and I would like to do my best for you every single time..But that alone does not guarantee that any one post will be excellent, or even very good. For when I start each of them, after the initial hurdle of getting just the right title, which is very important for me, I never know how it is going to turn out.

Plus, for me to grade my own analyses is like asking a mother to grade her child, so I cannot trust my own judgement on it, but wait for yours and those of the others who are good enough to write and comment in it.

So you see, your posts are important for me.

Coming to the episode, I am so glad that like me, you give good marks to Jalal as well as Jodha. It is very unusual for a man, that too a powerful emperor, to not only acknowledge that a woman has got the better of him in argument, but to actually appreciate. it. I am not sure Jodha realises that. I hope she comes round to seeing it soon.

About the frightening Tumhe humse kaun bachayega? Koi nahin, line of Jalal's , do see the fascinating analysis of that in Mansi's post above. It is absolutely crucial to our future understanding of the Jalal-Jodha equation.

With Eid holiday today ,I am finally here to gush about the episode and above all APPLAUD CHEER AND WHISTLE for the wonderful posts you make everyday even with your wonky wrist👏.Kudos Lady!! Inspiring and overwhelming.
Needless to say how apt your titles always are ,they already build up for the intrigue in the post and perfectly sums up the kind of equation and issues being dealt in the episode.Love it !!
Now coming to the episode.I guess with this one hour slot ,I was expecting some mediocre stuff but I was stumped stupefied and dazed to get the kind of finesse which was somehow lacking since its inception; the Shahi shaadi week is a box of hidden gems being scattered one by one...
I love these two..Perfect.. In fact too Perfect for a Liz Darcy kind of equation...😆
The tenterhooks ,the palpable throbs ,the push and pull amuses me just like you said "cat and mouse"
How can I ever summarize these two people when you have left me bereft of any words. Loved every bit of it..
One interesting symbolism from my side... Both are really brick headed very passionately driven people- "Ek mitti ko apne sar ka gaurav manti hai to dusra mitti se apne zakhm bharata hai..."
While both of them seem to have an arrogance ,a pride for their respective ideologies and beliefs .There is something that binds them together.
The soil..If she is the daughter of mother earth toh Jalaal too is the same mitti ki paidaish.
If she wants to protect her soil ,he craves for the expansion of his dreams by merging different soils in the big picture of vision for a huge empire.
If she swears by the soil to bring Jalaal ka kata hua sar ,Jalaal did indeed touched the soil of Amer and said , "Amer Ki mittti humein pukar rahi hai..."
So the Soil binds them
Also it could mean how deeply attached both of them are to their roots.both might be royals but have hearts grounded. Though no matter how hard Jalaal claims otherwise..We know he does have one...
I see the soil of Amer as a healing force..He brought the soil -the essence of Amer Jodha with him and in turn the soil will heal some deep wounds*Read loneliness and feeling of being unloved* for him...
I have always seen Jalaal like a lost child who clings on to people for love and support ,it slowly transforms and he is learning to stand for himself now,in this process,I do see Jodha as a pillar of support and more like a mirror for him.
A mirror because he sees himself in her..The same zid ,the same passion ,the same fealessness and she is also going to bea mirror in which Jalaal will see his follies and drawbacks too...
Aur phir Fireworks toh hain hi😆😆😆 With all that cat and mouse chasings...
