So we agree - your highlighted part - that there is preplanning, which, as I wrote to you a little earlier, was the impression I got, as regards CK and Jalal, after rewatching the episode of last night.

As for Sharifuddin, normally one would have expected him to send a courier post haste to Agra for instructions on how to proceed re: Amer, for after all he was not a behanoyi then, and even now, he would still be very afraid of Jalal. So maybe he was doing a little plotting on his own, to secure Amer and the shehzadi for Jalal, by frightening CK with that ominous statement.

My problem is that after having been a disciple of Chanakya all my working life, I prefer convoluted explanations for everything!😉

Thank you, my dear Chahat. It was really an exciting episode, though not on par with the next one. You might have seen my post about that one as well.

@blue. Your doubt is spot on, for I bet Jodha will not like the practice as much as she likes the theory. Nonetheless, I found the idea of keeping the identity of the groom secret from her right up to the wedding utterly ridiculous.

Aunty sorry for late reply and I agree with every bit of your post that yesterday Jalal was looking like a Shahensah, a true King who has the ability to rule over a large mass, and he doesn't need any guidance for that anymore. yesterday Cvs have done justice with the role no doubt. And as far as Shariffu's lecherous eye on Jodha is concerned well I think he didn't not tell CK that he wanted to own Jodha for himself rather it is possible that he wanted to send Jodha as a token to jalal to please him as Shariffu very much attuned with Jalal's interest to Jodha and except him and abdul no one till now knows about it.That's why Shariffu said that "abhi tak to humne amer ki asli khajane ko hath bhi nahi lagaya, aur wo hai Jodha" .

It is CK who didn't got his intentions and thought that Shariffu wants to demean her and he proposes the marriage..

Anyway aunty your post is always worth applause..👏

Yes, on the comment from Sharifuddin to CK, I agree with you; that is just what it must have been. It is the only logical explanation; Sharifuddin would attach too much importance to his own head to even dream of attempting any hanky panky in Jalal's territory!😉

It is always good to hear from you, and that rhyming couplet is cute! I agree with all your comments as well.

I am glad you liked this one and the next as well. I will of course PM you whenever I write a new one - I did not for today, Wednesday as there was nothing noteworthy except the Jalal-Mahaam Anga scene; the one between Jodha and her father was predictable.

For now, I would like you to concentrate on your exams and do really well in them. My very best wishes for that.

Maham must be cursing Adham under her breath, he was making things worse. Already there were low chances of Adham getting promoted to Wazir-e-Ala's post, and he was making that drop low.(What i am saying.)

I have praises your earlier as well about ur meticulous details and stalwart posts...

these days the episode seem incomple without your posts... it is as if you set the screen / frame in the motion and your posts r really picturisque ...

If [possible please please PM me whenever you update a post as iam fairly new to the IF and find it difficult to look for threads and posts and i also believe tht u fairly help me understand the who better and also one of the valuable thread tht i would like to spend my time reading...

My only concern for now is tht ,i have doubt tht jalal was behind shariffudin's decisions as i guess even shariffudin does not know tht jalal is intrested in marrying jodha ...he think tht she would be an addition to his harem like bairam khan used to bring and gift girls like farida sohwn in revious episodes to jalal the emperor...I think he was making his decisions carefully so as not to prompt jodha and rajput women to opt for jauhar...

then again if shariffudin is so smart in his planning ( for which he befriends sujamal too ) would he not be angry tht amer has been returned to bharmal and tht jala wants to marry its gurl...

and yes one more contradictory thing is tht if he is procuring jodha for jalal then why does he say tht iam behnoi of the emperor and i can do anything ... does he want jodha for himself then ????

and while he was in Agra for the wedding would he not have discussed the matter with jalal???

And the way jala seemed to be be all calm about the marriage proposal when chugtai porposed it was also dillusional ... it makes me think tht chugtai was used as a mohra to procure wat jala wanted vis a vis sharifu's help...

and why is he calling jodha's brothers to meet him ... first instead of sending them back... ???? remains one puzzle too...

On the other hand CK is a mughal but his position is nto defined in the mughal empire , even if we think tht he was the one who proposed for an alternative ... did he hold such a position tht jala would accept this alliance .. considering the fact tht CK is not shown about knowing about jalal's visit or his confrontations with jodha...

iam a lil confused about this ... please help me understand all this ...

and yes i would like a scene between shariff and jalal explaining the turn of events indirectly bhi chalegaa ... but there should be something ... considering the fact tht jalal once said to shariff in a promo tht jodha mein uski sari begumo se zyada himmat hai ...

I scored full marks in the first Test, next it is not revealed yet!But I know I have done well, Now there is a lot of Gap between the next 3 tests so I am Online.
