Well written post !😊😃

He is just perfect in playing Akbar' role. His perfection in using his sword .
Its difficult to give so many shades within a character he done very well
Don't know y people marking on his smirk n eyes that was most perfectly done by RT wihin a seconds he couldn't changed his attitude, either in a anger or in a softer mode ! grey shades whatever he s giving through his eyes n his body language as Akbar was just brilliant !👏👏
Huge claps for him ! well done RT !👏
He is playing a king role 😃

M late here.
1st of all thankyou.
Yup he is not perfect coz he is more than perfect.
He is doing his work very well.
Even 1 of his co-star (harshad chopda, anurag of tere liye) said, "Rajat is perfect for Akbar's role.
No one can do justice with this role accept Rajat."
n when he was only 14, he won ITA award.
Even our vice-president also impressed from him n his acting.
About his eyes.
His eyes r so expresive.
He can say everything through his eyes.
Love him n his work

I might be a bit late replying to this but thought will do so nevertheless...Akbar seems to have matured a bit since the first few weeks and his cruelty subsided since the disappearance of BK from his life, his sneers and smirks have reduced...(though still reserved for instances when he has to face Bharmal and refute MA which I'm more than glad about) so, that should keep the critics at bay...🤔

But, your comment about his presence is totally true...for instance - apart from RT there are about 7-8 other tall handsome men in the serial...but none of them have a combination of presence, looks, skill, expressions and appeal...😳
personally, I wish he was taller too...but since he's portraying a young king it suits him...

Thank you so very much!

I am both delighted and surprised that this post is still being read five weeks after it was written. I wrote it when I had seen Rajat for just 10 days, and already I rated him highly. Now, after another 5 weeks, I rate him much higher. The boy is a natural talent, and all he needs is a solid script, which he is getting here.

I agree with all your comments.

As for his height, as I noted in the post, a couple of inches more might have been better for him, not so much here, as Akbar was about this height (Humayun was tall), but for his career as a whole. But he makes up for it by projecting an effortless air of command, both with the taller Sharifuddin and the gigantic Adham Khan.
