Today's epi was good...

The noteworthy scenes in my opinion:

1) Jalal's scene with the handicapped servant/aide that he has...he seems to share a quirky relationship with him. The guy's fearless enough to tell Jalal what he thinks of things upfront...and Jalaal while being offended about anything said against Bairam Khan, still likes this guy enough for his sharp mind and unquestioning loyalty towards him. I liked this scene cuz it hinted at more layers in the relationships b/w these characters...in that even some of Jalaal's closest aides realize the negative influence that Bairam Khan has on him but aren't being able to make Jalaal realize or see this.

2) Sujamal's scenes with Jodha and then the confrontation in the darbaar when he stakes a claim to the throne openly...in the movie, Sujamal stayed quiet despite being hurt at not being given his right to the throne and returned later to claim the throne...here he has openly declared his claim to the throne and ends up having to escape from Amer...lol...anyways I feel the guy playing Sujamal acted well and this relationship b/w brother-sister is a nice one that will have more to it as the story progresses.


Now that all the planning for Gangaur has been done, I hope next week brings storyline movement with JA finally meeting...I think they've done enough planning this week...they need to show some action/execution from Jalaal now.

i guess after akbar attacks amer then will only the story will emphasize more of him!!😊😊 patience is virtue my frnds!!

June 24th:

I think I'm starting to warm up more to the show overall despite the fact that they still haven't shown JA meeting...lol...but the slow buildup is retaining my intrigue too.

Today's epi was again about build up...building up the third angles in the future course of things...Suryabhan falling for Jodha while Jodha's sister falling for Suryabhan...

Jodha has become as obsessed with Jalaal as Jalaal has become obsessed with Rajputana...lol...she takes his name atleast 3 times in every conversation or prayer...while Jalaal always mentions Rajputana in any convo he has...lol

Today they showed a glimpse of Jalaal's troubled relationship with his mother...again a slight deviation from the movie wherein that relationship was more or less glossed over...but here in true Ekta style, son resents his mother for abandoning him...lol...the actress playing Jalaal's mom has been poorly cast...cuz her anglicized diction was showing quite obviously in her attempts to deliver her lines...anyways so her reasons for leaving Jalaal in Mahamanga's care are understandable but ofcourse Mahamanga has managed to get Jalaal in her control...So his mother too wishes for someone to come into his life to get him to lighten up...lol...cut to Jodha.

I just found it amusing how matter of factly Jalal told her to convey his message to his Badi Ammi that he misses her all the time and that he misses his Begum about 2 times a day😆...how generous of Jalaal...lol


Precap mein looks like one more guy is gonna get killed by Jalal for daring to go against Bairam Khan...lol...this entire week will go in the Gangaur festival it seems...maybe JA will meet by the end of the week...tomorrow Jalaal reaches Amer maybe I think cuz the last scene in the precap showed him holding the mitti of Rajputana in his hands...good scene that seemed.
