@ Anu 🤗Ahem Ahem😆Awww to aap vi idhar ho😳 I had been lurking around the forum posted some bits too but LOL like you I have warmed up to the show too.No matter how bad the cinematography and other our of place stuff seems ,but the kind of intrigue they have built ,is keeping me glued too.
Agreed with the points you mentioned. The gangaur Festival that marks the culmination and union of Ghana (Shiva ) and Gauri (Parvati). Similarly the destructive and ruthless Akbar might meet the divine grace and righteousness of Jodha.
The episode did throw some subtle hints to the relationship b/w Jalal and his first wife Ruquiya.Seems like she is close to him ,since he misses her and places her almost equal to Mahamanga .The way I see it ,it seems to be a bond of esteem and respect. I am waiting to see how they portray the relationship😳
The fair scene was so absurd,Rajputani princess do not roam around in fairs like common women 😕and the BG score so totally out of place😆😆😆but then Ekta ji ka show hai I am watching it with minimum expectations😛
But I loved the scene in the precap😳Already obsessed with each other,I am waiting for their meeting😳
They need to work a lot on language ,dialect ,lights ,body language etc..SIGH I am so used to brilliant DOP post Gulaal that everything average looks on my face now
But I loved the simplistic lighting's in the night scene where Jodha talks to Moti about her desire to be one page in the history associated with Jalaal.
BTW Gangaur symbolisms are so evident.Umarried gals pray for a suitable husband at Gangaur ,so did Jodha unknowingly expressed her desire to be assciated with Jalaal😆😆😆
OK I am stopping here😛

LOL nice to see you here too! Woh Maharana Pratap waale forum ka EDT toh just died down...lol...show is moving kinda slowly anyways.

Ahh yes this story intrigues me too despite the bad production values...yeah the fair scene was hilariously average looking...firstly the design of the fair itself showed chindiness at work, upar se showing princesses roaming around the fair like average girls...LOL this is Kekta-fication of royalty, what can we say.

Re: Akbar-Rubaiyya...dunno if you saw but there was an SBS segment a few days back that showed the upcoming scene b/w them...from what I could gather, Akbar is ok with her...she seems to be more gaga over him and in love with him while he seems a little removed...he did look ecstatic though when she informed him that they're gonna have a baby...I don't think Akbar places Rubaiyya equal to Mahamanga...Mahamanga seems like God to him currently...I think he also mentioned Rubaiya's name to hurt his mother more about how he misses everyone but HER😆

I do think it's interesting that Ekta hasn't chosen to gloss over Akbar's other wives like the movie did...I guess there wasn't enough time in the movie anyways to explore the marital politics of Akbar...lol...but for a soap toh multiple wives means endless fodder for drama and saas-bahu politics.

Ahh so that's what Gangaur means...thanks for the info yaar...cool to know...yes the symbolism is definitely there then...I'm sorta excited despite myself to see their first meeting and clashes...lol...Akbar's mad obsession with winning Amer/Rajputana and Jodha's obsessive hatred for Akbar...I agree the precap was very good...the way Akbar salutes the mitti of Rajputana while staking his claim as well...Rajat acted well there.

Also I think today they set up the base for the perfect Kekta soap plot also...shaadi ke baad Jodha will not only be repairing Akbar, she will be mending all his relationships...like the one with his mother...then exposing Mahamangaa, Bairam Khan etc...plenty of stuff to keep Jodha busy after the marriage...lol...

🤗 Hum aksar takra hi jatey hain nahi😛Well I am right now on a Ranjhana HIGH😆(wo toh my our cheer phad at the review thread se pata hi chal gaya hoga😆Agree with Mahran EDT .However the show is thousand times better in terms of aesthetics class etc than this so called historical show but still The lead couple makes it interesting to watch😳 Fair scene mein I was wondering ki Princess gar aise ghumne laging toh LOL😆Donno .The fresh shaadi waley green and red velvet carpets gives it such an artificial look ki kya bataun...I wonder why does Ekta ka PH has such horrible taste when it comes to aesthetics ,lights ,sets etc😕

OH prolly I missed that SBS segment ...I am looking forward to their bond as well because I guess Akbar was given an heir only by Jodha ,and Ruqaiya remained childless😕So the SBS segment does clear out that Mahamanga and Ruqaiya are at diff pedestals.BTW heard that Smiley as Ruqaiya has been replacedI was so looking forward to her role.I bet they will make her a scheming vamp.So typical Ekta😆
@Blue YA prolly he did this purposefully to get back at her.The Mommy dearest is a total misfit🤢Ekta shows sucks at side casting😆

BANG ON!!Fodder for saas bahu drama😆😆😆

I think you prolly missed one post where I described the Gangaur details which are symbolic and the PH is using it really well.It is indeed an interesting festival you can have a look if you have time😳

Oh yes!!She has the task of taming the WILD ,reforming stray scheming cats ,mending relationships and Bridging the gap bw people. So quite an uphill task for the bubbly rajkumari😆

@Breeze Star Honestly no offense to any fans but I wouldn't have given a damn for any show with such bad production values if the Leads were not interesting. Its Rajat and Paridhi which makes the show interesting for me and Maharana is not at all boring. In fact it is a CLASS show !! JA stands nowhere near to the kind of aesthetics and beauty that Maharana is offering.I agree no love story but still Its one of the few quality shows here on Indian TV😳
Disha couldn't agree more👍🏼if they add that tadka to JA then it will be rocking !! For now its intriguing just because Rajat and Paridhi are so terrific!!

I love such shows and Maharana Pratap would have been awesome. If only it hadn't been repeated before.. Like PRC, Hatim, chandragupta Maurya.. Its just more or less the same now.

Other actors on MP are like, awesome. His parents do look kike king and queen.. the way they talk unlike JA. But the thing is.. how many times. MP is like an overdose of the same thing. If you compare it with PRC.. it isn't much either. JA is kind of refreshing for me, with a different focus. Although the dialogues are kinda bugging, especially Jodha's sisters. Princesses do not act like that.. Jodha's father.. too.. doesn't look like a king.. I just end up comparing him to MP's, PRC's or Sanyogita's father.

P.S- Admiring Rajat is my fav pass time 😆
