Amey Date and Shekar - Page 2

Vishal was never competing against Amey in Old SRGM 1999. Shekhar has competed in one contest with Amey dont remember which year.

Amey comes from very down to earth conservative Maharashtrian family. Amey has not been very lucky so far. Although he is very well trained singer.

What Bruno has written above is correct.

I hope someday soon Amey's stars will shine and he will make his mark. 😃

Again, look at his luck ....of all the singers in JJWS a talent like Amey was brought in for 2 weeks and was unceremoniously dumped !!!!!! ..why??? ..Today somebody established the fact that Sap had posted few days back...Amey was indeed forced to sing Krazzy4 song 😡 when he actually wanted to sing satrangi re ....whyyyyyy????? 😕 ...VS were mad at the channels ...probably that's why they just said "u r much above this song" and gave him 7 because they r bound by contract and can't go against channel !!!! ...but why was Amey treated like that????...Is it because of the euphoria Amey's inclusion created and they thought if Amey goes to champion side 2 champs from Sony r going to rule the roost ???????.....I don't know ..but all I know , luck doesn't favor him at all .... just my 2 cents 😛

Bruno.....I feel Amey got a raw deal in JJWS when we found out he was entering another reality show we were excited to hear him after so long, but really luck is not on his side. Well I don't really bother if people did believe that Amey was forced to sing Krazzy 4, we don't really need to lie. We too can say a lot of things about their favs, but will not stoop to such levels.

My favs this year....Abhijeet he's come a long way. Debo and Harshit. I like Toshi too cos he was good in SVOI but somehow he is not able to reach that level here 😕

destiny does play a big role in wot happens to us...it affecte the opprtunities we get, the decisions v make, r choices etc...amey unfortunately has been unlucky...on idol1 n here 2...a talented singer lyk him shud have made it big in the industry by now...n here 2 he got out coz of a stupid song choice which was not in his hands...hopefully his luck changes n he does well in lyf...he just needs to persist n keep workin 2ward his goal

though i was ready for Amey's early exit (with strategic voting by champions and public voting), i was very upset with the way channel treated him 😭 😭 😭 ......though success is not the yardstick for talent, we all want our favourites to be successful....some ppl. get it early and some late....maybe Amey belongs to the second category 😊

Amey was offered a contract by V&S last year in Nov, he did not take it up cos he wanted to earn more money doing shows. They understood his point since he is the only member earning in the family.

I really don't understand the need of contract 😕 .... why do they need Amey to sign a contract? If they really want to give him a chance... just give him a song which they feel is suitable for Amey...

Ya that's true ...I think may be the contract says Amey has to be with them for certain period of time and can't sign anything else ????.....but if Amey had sung one song with VS in OSO then the shows would have automatically poured in .....isn't it??😕 ..Connie , I know u can't say here much about what's going on in Amey's personal life but I just hope Amey manages some time out to accept MDS like VS, SEL even Pritam's offers because they r the front runners ..look at Monali ...with zara zara and sajna anari from race she has a stamp in bollywood now ...and Amey is soo talented and deserves so much more !!!!! 😛👏

I think MD's have a contract cos they don't really want those singers to do shows or sing for anyone else, and Amey's was for 3 yrs so he chose not to go under it, right now Amey is doing stage shows, cos even if V&S give him a break it might only be 2 or 3 songs at the most 😕
