Bruno...It's not only that he can't sing for any MD but he can't do any stage shows as well... so I think thats the reason he chose not to sign it.

I don't know how that would have benefited VS... I mean the highlighted part... these struggling singers earn most of the money through stage shows... I don't know how the contract was but if it was not giving Amey any regular income then it was not good for him 😕 .... as he is the only earning member of the family...

Thanks Connie for clearing our doubts 😃 ..wow..i never had any idea that one has to sign a 3 year contract to sing for these established MDS 😲 ...so these budding singers really have it tough !!! 😕 ..once u become an established singer then u can call the shots .....I see 😊 ....

That is like using these strugglers for their own benifit 😕 ... that too when there is actually no benifit for MDs.... what do they get by stopping these singers from doing stage shows... I don't understand...

I can understand why Amey said no... if he is going to get only 2 or 3 songs in 3 yrs. how is that worth? I don't know about Monali... did she sign any such contract? even if she did... she can afford to take a chance as she does not have to worry about earning money at this point of time.... so she can invest that much amount of time but for Amey the case is different 😭

Well regarding the contract another condition is if Amey does any shows or sings for anyone else.... then his earnings would be 40% and the MD who he has a contract with will earn 60%.... so the people who are interested to sign him will have to get in touch with the person whoever has signed him

for himani, Monali this might work because they r not the breadearners ( I know Monali's family is quite rich)

ya quite an eye opener....3 years agreement contract is too much isnt it ...does that also mean that vinit is also under contract for Himesh...no wonder he isnt singing for anyone else !!!

Wow ... thanks for the info connie... looks like these MDs take advantage of these struggling singers... so sad... it's all about making money now a days 😭

what Connie says is , one can sing for other MDs but as per contract the other MD has to be aware of it and he has to pay 40% to vineet and 60 % to the MD vineet is working for ..i think very few people want to go with those hassles , paperwork and time ....established MDS wouldn't even bother IMO

I mean , the only way to get recognised is to wait for ur luck that one day a SLB( think Shreya) or Mani Ratnam would want u sing in their movies so the MDS have no choice but to take u ....that might take 2 lifetimes 😃

hmmm I thought I saw all the shows of Saregamapa but never noticed Amey.
