toshi is the one whose perf has deteriorated, he has failed to perf 2 potential...abhijit on the other hand has been consistently singin well n totally deserves 2 win...

bottom line is that it takes years of training to become a trained classical singers while any tom and dick can sing tujhe dekha to yeh jana sanam and that too with 500 takes and in 5 days

i am yet to see abhijit sing a tough song. he can sing his lovely romantic song. get praise from juidges, and few votes from his feamle fans but he is no match for talent of toshi

toshi types are rare to find but hirshit and abhijit type singers are often found singing in bathrooms

no chance in a billion that they can match likes of toshi

i do respect amey as that guy is a trained singer with clean voice and more importantly a clean accent

you will not hear him pronounce word khamoosh like kkkhhaaamoosh

anyway just my opinion..abhijit can collect wins with help of his fans but he can never convince those who know a little about real singing capability which can make you sweat singing just few lines

You actually yourself proved what the thread wants to say.😆 Thats it. Abhijeet was not a good singer but has improved. He has grown as a singer. But Toshi has gone down. There are many here who have really TOO good knowledge about music and have said the same.😆 Just having a classical training don't make you a good singer. If that was the case then why did Amit falter???? He too was a trained singer.

To each his own....Abhijeet has definitely come a long way and how IMO!!!! I was a huge Amit Sana fan during II1 days and supported Amit and Rahul over Abhijit those days but I have no qualms in saying how Amit Sana has deteriorated , compared to that what a marked improvement Abhijeet has made !!!!!!!

I completely agree with Vishal when he said to Abhijeet "is show mein aane se pahle mujhe pata nahi tha ki aap itne bahtareen singer ho" .....

It's good to be a fan but when ur fav deteriorates and start giving one weak performance after another there is nothing wrong in acknowledging it ...On the other hand it's wrong to put other singers down just because ur fav is not singing well !!!!!

Well said and just exactly my thoughts. Even I was a Amit fan. Always felt II got the wrong winner. But not anymore. It definitely got one of the most versatile and consistent singer. Kudos to him for this level of improvement.

That shows his dedication and level of improvement. What happened before who cares, but now, he is unbeatable.....

Same with Harshit... his voice is NOT a regular common bathroom singers voice. His voice is perfectly suited for playback and he is another one who has imrpoved tremendously. He has been giving one great performance after another.... and mind you he came from the challenger side... he has been the most consistent challenger who has given every champion a run for their money...

Toshi on the other side... has faltered. Classical training or not... it holds no value when one cant excel from what he was before.

He really has to pull up his act.

toshi is very talented and he likes to improvise the only person who can improvise whoknows the stuff singing aalaps or sargam with perfect are not an easy task. since there si no live orchestra here in jjws (which is so stupid for a big programme like that) and you have to sing it with the track ,here people like toshi who wants to improvise and sing in there style cant work and other singers who can just mug the song with track and put it on stage .many people dont understand. i still remember the day in voi when jatin said tha he is a very talented singer and bahut adani log iski taarif karenge by adani he means the people in music industry who understands classical

toshi and over comfident quite surprising to say for him when there are so many othere sitting with so much attitude problem on the show

Adi, I have never really found Toshi awesome or great even during VOI... Except for his first audition of piya re - where Jatin took him in his arms and swirled around 😆 - he was strictly average in singing... And he seems just the same even now... So I dont really think he has gone down, but he has always been like that - its always been more a case of hype than of actual quality... But again, just my opinion😛

Yes agreed Toshi is the other one who has deteriorated after what he was in VOI. But then he was never too comfortable in all genre. Even in VOI he had faltered too many times when made to sing songs of say Kishore and all. He can never be called a vestatile singer. And now he is faltering even in the songs of his comfort level.

Improvement with time shows what to expect from these singers. Unless they do so they will go into oblivion soon and maybe we'll see them occasionally on some TV shows and all. Its now proved beyond doubt that singers like Abhijeet, Harshit, Debu, all have actually improved to the better rather than going downhill.

We completely second and third😆 u on this!
