No, haven't seen Badtameez Dil...didn't have access to that app at that time and then lost track later.
Bold lol true that!!
It’s an absolutely essential skill to be able to recognise how the story is stacking up vis a vis own’character as well as in broad terms. Actors usually use both or one to determine whether it’s worth their time. Ofc if there are other considerations the above may not be possible.
In Barun’s case, I loved the fact that at the peak of his success he could see how utterly beholden the itv medium was to this craziness of constant bombardment of content to be able to deliver creative satisfaction. Through IPK, he would credit the writing for the product, a recognition that writing is the core of the creative process… An actor however good he be..can’t raise a badly written effort… many of his creative choices post his initial movie choices have been so good esp on the ott medium…
Also he seems an actor who likes to be completely guided by the director’s vision.. there is No Barun I see in any of the work just characters he plays… Ofc that he is so easy on the eye is the added bonus 🤣
On the Bindii choice by KA… I don’t know his reasons but if he is guided by the story or character… it’s obviously a poor choice. There is no use of any physicality perception of the character if the character has no significance to the story… In terms of an arc, Aviraj has nothing to offer!! It wouldn’t matter how well he would emote a redeemed Aviraj cos his redemption would be based on knowing Bindii is his blood…so does nothing for the character or the story. That’s not redemption in my books
