'Agar koi aur nahi , toh tu hi sahi'. He has never shown that emotional connect with Arshi. Have said multiple times before Ani like people do exist in real life and makers have portrait this character wonderfully. He will only show his ugly side to people he love , with rest he is all goodie goodie. Ani will never try to control Arshi because of this nature

Him marrying arshi just because he knows jahank will reject him is not good.
