Since you insisted i went and checked every page. First they were making fun of that tweet to PM modi, not the supposed suicidal attempt. After that tweet was posted, only one member had made a somewhat mocking comment. Every other person is just angry at the sheer stupidity of that act. So I guess you making fun comment doesn't apply to the majority opinion here.

I have seen with my own eyes several posts in this forum urging fans to "vote vote and vote more, sacrifice your time, sleep, meals, college, work just for the weekend, sanaya needs our votes" not once, several times.I have seen people asking who to contact indian fans to send money. Of course the negotiations must have been done secretly in PMs etc, because i have seen people asking to check PM instead of saying outright. So don't fool me. I don't have time to pull them as evidence now. And from my experience i can tell those comments might be edited already. Its a common behavior in this fandom.

If you can claim to make a solid reliable vote count, then you can easily spread a wide-reaching message to fans to not act rashly too. It doesn't work both ways. i know there are big Fb groups and many are untied here too. The girl who is supposedly in the hospital was not an isolated girl, she was giving spoilers constantly and was in contact with many right? I know 100% reach over the fans is impossible but don't act like your hands are tied now. The same people who organized so many fans should now take the same stand to calm the fandom too. Its your responsibility. May be you are already doing it, but it isnt enough.

I agree with you on the part about shouldering the responsibility of the fandom. It comes both as a boon or a bane. So no one is running away from it. I am a part of this and I will take the good and bad both.

Are you trying to say we should have issued out a forewarning or something ...who anticipates incidents like these ? I would have never in my dreams thought that someone would take such a drastic step. It is so stupid and idiotic.

Who would encourage or support this ? No one. But certainly none anticipated this either.

What had to happen , happened...we have indeed urged the fans to stay calm and move on as this is a Reality show and is not the end of things ...but it will take time to settle .
If you know so many things ...you should have known this too ... a post was made here I think yesterday about the same and likewise in other places too but guess everyone misses out on soothing posts ! 😕 I cannot blame you ...this is the way of the world.

Did anyone care to read this ...http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4484924.

Please carry on with your studies. I do not want to indulge u in anything irrelevant to u.

Okay guys, I think we should calm down our anger at that girl for the suicide attempt. At first, when I saw the tweet, i thought she just took sleeping pills to sleep well for some time because she was hurt or in pain so wanted to take some time off. I completely missed that this is actually a suicide attempt which was stupid of me, but then I never thought fans would actually go to such extent. Most probably she was depressed in her real life, so she took solace in virtual world. That's what depressed ppl usually do when they become obsessed with celebs as their happiness become their happiness and their fav sadness become their sadness that they resort to such actions like self-harm, suicide, and all. She had mental illness and/or depressed most probably that she had to resort to such action over an actor.

So us saying we do not understanding for why she did over an actor won't make a difference when she's depressed and couldnt think properly. I am not trying to be preechy here, but just understanding where she might have been coming from as what i have read from studies about ppl being obsessed over actors because depression issues in real life. Mental illness is huge taboo worldwide and most of the times the parents don't even know if their children is one nor do they know whom and where to talk to, so they remain like that and take dangerous actions. So hope she gets well soon and gets well soon from her depression too, and enjoy her life and appreciate the life she has been given.

If she however attempted suicide not because she was depressed or anything but because she was just obsessed with SI, then that is really PATHETIC. Still hope she gets well.

Nice answer 👏 👏 I completely agree with you fans needs to careful but along with fans I think Sanaya also little bit responsible for that. I saw her some interviews and there she always said "She never win anything" and this statement of her made fans more crazy they were tried to prove wrong of her statement to win her JDJ. I know Sanaya is very nice girl may be she did not do this intentionally but as a celeb she should be careful What she should say and what not...

I feel Sorry for the girl's parents.. I pray for her Get Well Soon.

You should know what social media is and how it will spread like fire also u as sanaya's fans should know how she will feel about this. Colors has no feelings its a channel but sanaya has. did u think what she will feel of all this. we are not making a laughing stock of the girl YOU are making a laughing stock of sanaya. from bashing jai to faisal, now some trying to commit suicide. Did the person who posted that tweet think even of sanaya. gosh! yes im pissed. We are not the ones being callous that person is and the one who posted it.

The person who posted isn't Sanaya fan.Is it making any difference!

I don't think any of us is that heartless to make fun of someone's suicide attempt. Nah.

What irks me- no, enrages me, is that the fan resorted to such a step for a celeb she's probably never met. For a random frickin' reality show and its result. Can you imagine the plight of her parents ATM? I feel very sorry for them.

At the same time, mental health issues are very serious, and as someone pointed out it could be that something else was compelling the person to take reprieve in the virtual world, and since that too didn't work out well she took this drastic step.

Lemme tell you, all of us have a hard time coping with stress and so many issues on a day to day basis. Maybe there are some of us who have experienced depression or other acute mental problems. But have we experienced it for a reality show result? I think not.

Some people are so disgusting in this thread and the heights of immaturity clearly is shown from your post!!!

The poor girl tried to harm her self it's so sad and I pray for her well being. All of us are not perfect,we are not mature enough at times and take the most stupidest decision ever as thats part of life which is making mistakes and learning from them!!!

Instead of trying to pray for her well being people are mocking Sanaya's fan base like seriously you'll are nasty!!! Let me tell you I am a Drashti fan but my interactiob with many Sanaya's fan was so good and I loved every interaction with them.
