I agree, bhangra is often not choreographed very well. I have seen some awesome bhangra, it would have been great during the episode where they had lots of back up dancers. lots of colours. but yep, he did his best.

Wow I must have a lot of gaping holes in my JDJ memory. When did the backup dancers episode happen?

the week before last I think. I am not good with exact dates but it was when they had dance groups given to each contestant and they had to incorporate them in the dance. I think that was the one.

Well, here is my input!!
I really would have liked for someone to have performed an underwater act, like ravi-sargun in nach baliye season-??? (I dont know which season)

Also, I wanted to see a dance on skates, & when we had that jhalak in motion, I thought someone would do it...

Then when there was the back-up dancers week, I so wanted someone to do that folk dance that they do, maybe in north-east India, with those sticks that are put on the ground, and people move & dance over them...like the sticks are placed horizontally & moved by some people while others dance over them...i dont know what it is called & whether i am able to explain it, but that mixed with intelligent & modern choreography would have looked nice, i guess...

then there is ballet...

That's all...

Yeah Bezuban was actually inspired from this one. There are some steps which are copied. I would pay a million bucks to see something like this live 😆

Even if it is inspired they did an awesome job. The screen presence, the moves and the use of rain was amazing. Someone on youtube has actually mixed the step up dance with the song bezubaan. the song is so good it works on both.
