That indeed is an amazing concept 👏
I love the step up choreographies though the movies get repetitive, usually similar story line in each

I think Faisal's choreographer experimented more than any choreographer with different dance forms. He was from the old lot so kind of expected that from him. More than anything I really missed all the old choreographers such as Punit, Salman, Tushar etc. They really did experiment with different dance forms. Last season had some really amazing dances due to them. This season has been the worst in terms of choreography.

Completely agree...Jhalak was really lacking some of the great choreographers from previous seasons. Only Vivek delivered. I was disappointed in Deepak and Marichsa...I mean they were past winners...but not so creative this season...and Deepak had a contestant who was a fab dancer 😕

Along with fewer impressive choreographies (there have been some impressive ones) I did not like repeated concepts. I mean I understand how iconic madhuri is as a dancer but I really had wished Shamita did not dance on dhak dhak, it has been over done. Scarlett also was not stretched and she had potential.

I would have liked to see more Indian dance, folk and classical. Sanaya did mujra, which is part kathak, Faisal did classical recently ... Raftaar tried Kathakali and he did tandav, which is inspired from bharatnatyam ... those were all so good to watch. Wish more contestants and choreos had tried more of those. Faisal's lavni was good ... I'm not a fan of lavni, but he performed very well.
Mohit's bhangra was unimpressive.
I would also have liked more classical western dance forms like salsa, tango, jive. Salsa is very difficult, it would have been great to see Sanaya or Shamita try it ... both have great legs 😛

Sanaya and Shamita did waltz ... both were good. Mohit's Paso Doble act was good. Would have liked to see more of those.
