So imo the dance steps on the floor were fairly easy for somebody like sanaya and yet she didn't nail them...and the fear on her face during the aerial portions was so clear,it disrupted the flow of the performance for me...i didn't think she was completely in charater as the tm thought, don't do these aerial acts if you are so scared...give me 5 more mujras instead 😆

I agree wid u partially...I hv nvr been a fan of aerial acts as I don't find hardcore dancing in dem which interests me more...bt whenever I saw any on any dance show ,dat ws praised hugely mch beyond my expectations mainly bcz of d difficulty level n risk involved...infact I wsnt very excited abt dis week's performance of hers...I ll agree dere was no difficult step involved on d floor bt dat is d case wid aerial acts I guess..Dere is only mild dancing...d problem fr me in d act was only wid d transition from floor to air I mean I felt like she was running or something bt dat might b d only way to execute itit 😕 I don't know I m nt an expert to know it...bt her lifts in d air compensated for any flaws dat were dere..to me dose looked surreal n d whole act was visually appealing...as I said I hv observed dat dese acts r appreciated more bcz of d difficulty level, hers ws d most unbelievable act dat I hv witnessed so far n combined wid d fact dat she is a non dancer who has not attempted any aerial act before makes d act what it is...

Agree with but if we see all the arial steps they have done is a circular pattern , which won't be possible if they are not runnning and making that momentum to make that harness in circular .

Unbelievable performance . As u said wat they have done in the mid air is sufficient to appreciate this act.

That girl wasn't having harness . I know you are very critical when it comes to your favourite but girl your favourite has completely nailed it .Its not at all overating .Even big actors like ronit roy have come out to acknowledge that .The act didn't had flaws and it was so beautifully choreographed and done that I have no words . And it's not coming from a sanaya fan who is saying this because she is obsessed with sanaya .I am not a fan at all ...but still can't stop myself from appreciating what she did on stage today .Donttt be this harsh ...atleast not for today's performance . She has done a terrific job , she deserves words of appreciation from you as well . I know registering the most number of votes or trending her name is now something which can be done everyday for her , such a big fan group this is . But when after knowing this whole fangroup is there standing for support and still risking her life just wanting to surprise with her hardwork is definitely a big deal .

Thank you and I am overwhelmed with this reply!!! Thank you!!

@bold ... that is the whole point, my dear ... acts like these if done by professionals should look smooth ... but even professionals would look and feel nervous if they did not have a harness or some support. Sanaya had none. And if she did not feel nervous, she would be foolish ... because there were chances of serious injury if they were not careful. They did not even have safety mats on the floor.

Sanaya is a non professional dance ... in fact, she is a non dancer. Therein lies the beauty and the level of her achievement ... a level she has achieved in nine weeks of practice. If you wish to belittle that, that is your opinion ... for most of us, today is a day to celebrate her achievement ... that is what the journey of jhalak is about.

Beautifully said every word I wanted to type myself!! I would simply say I agree to everything!

I am humbled by the girl, at her dedication and hard work and grit and her achievements!! Despite knowing she has a safety mat in us fans, she still took a 100% risk and came off the winner!!

I am floored to know, scared actually to know she hurt herself in that 1st lift itself before the Kuda jaan drop! And she was in so much pain that she wanted to stop but completed it with a smile!! Unfreaking believable and so so sooo proud!! 👏

While surbhi's point about the portions on the dance floor getting affected after one had been up in the air seems reasonable I just remebered that the majority of the dance portions on the floor were BEFORE she went up...no?...and it was during these initial portions that her transitions weren't smooth...may be she has not learnt so much if after her 9 weeks' journey she can't get her transitions right
😆

Damn i wish there were more actually neutral members on this forum...even some bashers...the fandoms show again and again why such people are needed...and then may be my opinions wouldn't seem that different.

Don't belittle something just to show you r too cool to be a regular fan!

Everyone neutral was floored! yesterday twitter trend didn't happen by fans! Fans planned a hashtag but her name trended instead with no hashtag through neutral viewers like this one I posted above who took to twitter to appreciate her!

it is ok to have a different opinion. but understand that it doesn't have to be a die hard fan to actually appreciate what unfolded last night!! half the people r not fans who are praising that act so much!

Kudos to Sanaya and Jai, they deserved all the accolades they received! It took Shahid a couple of seconds to speak because he looked speechless and amazed, as did all the judges.
I think what impressed me the most is the fact that I had no clue that Sanaya hurt her foot badly in the beginning of the act. She never showed it in her expressions or dance. I only thought she might be hurt at the end when she sat down and also when Ganesh brought it up. She literally couldn't move from one spot and had to be carried.

She looked a little nervous at a couple of moments but that added to the performance for me. It made the audience feel her vulnerability and connect to her more. There is a lot more to dance than just technical perfection. I am not drawn to those dancers because I feel like they are dancing alone in isolation...I can't relate to them. Sanaya on the other hand makes you feel like you are dancing with her.
