Shahid Kapoor, owing to prior commitments, will not feature in episodes to be aired coming weekend and the superstar who is to step in to the judge's shoes is Salman Khan. So, in a nutshell, the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" star will replace Shahid for two days on the show.

"To ensure that the energy quotient of the show doesn't dip in Shahid's absence, the makers have roped in Salman Khan. He will appear on the show along with Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, to promote their upcoming film, Hero," an insider informed Hindustan Times, Mumbai (August 19).

If this were to be true, then it would be in stark contrast to what was being reported a while ago. Salman apparently didn't want to actively participate in "Hero" promotions as it would push the spotlight away from the newcomers.

However, while the 'prior commitment' is best known to the "Shaandaar" actor, there's been a buzz that the actor has jetted off to London with wife Mira Rajput for the much-talked about honeymoon, which was delayed due to Shahid's tight work schedule.

According to an Absolute India News report, the young actor apparently told his friends he wants to get to know his wife better, hence the holiday. However, the couple had earlier decided on Europe as their destination but now they have taken off to the Brit capital for a fortnight.
