SBB Coverage was a longer version...and Sanaya was very happy with her look. she said she looked good as she was munching 😉 Mujra she said is made in India hence the style nothing on the song though...looked graceful yup she more than Jai in that bit...lets c dance gurus kya kehthe hain. Gutsy i must say.

Ist when i heard they doing kathak on babydoll song i was like this week we gone but when i saw the tech.rehearshal in SBS i actually liked it .its look very much promising i dont know anything about classical dance but i had seen khathak in IGT perfrom by a group of woman n sanaya is doing good i think.Classical dance need technicalities which they learn from years so cant hope that she will be perfect in that but lookwise l liked it.

I think there was a small misunderstanding, which I may have added fuel to. Stimmy said the theme is "for" Independence Day. And, well, yeah, Baby Doll doesn't suit the occasion. So, the disappointment is completely understandable. And, now that I caught that new bit on SBB(they adore Khushi, don't they-never letting go of one opportunity to intrduce Sanaya as K), with a lot more of the tech rehearsal than SBS showed, I can kind of relate to Stimmy, here. The fusion bit sounded a little off, but I hope it doesn't actually sound that sloppy during the real act. The dance was fine but the music was a little off is what I mean. And, there was this bit when they did Mujra for classical beats & it looked stunning. I confess, it did make me wonder whether they could've pulled off a pure Mujra number with one of the classic songs.

I simply made an observation that it is Independence week! It had nothing to do with JDJ directly..

Looks like every time they just have to leave us stumped after spending all ourgrey cells guessing the song n theme n what not. We listed out all possible mujra and kathak songs and finally its Baby Doll..

I personally love that song,its peppy n catchy n mood lifting sorts. This is not a superstar dedication week so there is no need to bother how the original song was picturised or who did what in that, not that is a big deal anyway. Its a new concept, very creative and therefore risky. Hope they pull it off well. Not 40 but if she gets 35+ I will be happy, because this is a tough week..

they have always been gutsy in that sense! He has always put her at the center stage in every single week except week 3 and it has always paid off for them! Hope it works perfectly this time too!!

I agree!
I like this idea too - also u know by not copying an original act they may actually fare well.. because they don't have to live up to the expected image of an old renowned performance! Which might work well in their advantage..
Sanaya is young, new age and peppy - and she can still be Indian! So it might be a lovely fusion..

I have not yet seen anything exceot E24.. but the bit I saw, I loved it.. a bit from old and a bit from new might create a lovely mix...😳
