The hottest talk of town currently is Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded with all the interesting contestants and even more interesting judges. With Shahid on board, the actor has been attracting all the limelight, more so since Manish Paul has put in his request to get Mira, Sasha's wifey, on the show. Now that sure will be one heck of an episode, right? But amidst all the dance and fun, there was also some unfortunate news, that of Sanaya injuring herself while rehearsing for one of her performances.

Promotions and Appearances...

With Bajrangi Bhaijaan right over head, we were treated to a lot of Salman Khan, but one thing with Salman is that excess of him is never bad. The actor first appeared on Dance India Dance where he motivated the lil dancers wholeheartedly. Next came Star Plus' popular drama,Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Salman's visit was quite an exciting one. From selfies and groupfies to dancing and fun, there was a lot to keep us entertained. The actor will soon be seen on Kapil Sharma's Comedy Nights With Kapil. While the episode is yet to be aired we got a glimpse of the mad fun that went on there. So Palak aka Kiku Sharda presents herself as a special gift to Salman and strips open her clothes. What Salman did next sent us in a fit of laughter. The actor got up and pretended to throw up. Hahaha!

Telly Highs...

Some really interesting tracks are shaping up in our favorite shows. The Alia - Bulbul tiff onKumkum Bhagya, which has been on for ages now, finally came to an end. But not in our dreams did we think that it would end with Bulbul's death. Oh yes! Let's see how Pragya deals with this one.

On Yeh Hai Mohabbatein too, we are all geared up for more drama and plotting coming our way since Shagun aka Anita Hassanandani is back... with a bang!

Home coming...

Television heartthrob, Gurmeet Choudhary, has been away from the small screen ever since he started shooting for his Bollywood debut, Khamoshiyaan. Post the film, his fans expected him to return to TV but the actor has been adamant that isn't happening anytime soon. But reports suggest that the actor has been signed to play the lead in Star Plus' upcoming show, tentatively titled, Swadhinta. Well, that's some great news for his fans, but why all the hiding Mr Choudhry?

Bitter endings...

Actress Soni Singh, who last appeared on the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, was recently assaulted by her ex-boyfriend. The actress was hanging out with her friends when her ex appeared suddenly and dragged her into the car where he slapped her repeatedly. An FIR has been filed against him at the Versova Police station.

There isn't any reason as such. It has always been my dream to become a part of Jhalak ever since its first season. Last year when I was offered I could not take it up because I had shows like Samrat, Doli Armaano Ki. This was the right time as Samrat was ending and I couldn't say no to an exciting offer like this. Dancing is something which I love and I want to make it even better as it'll also help me as an actor.

Which is that one dance style you are pro at and another which you totally dread of?

I am not being modest but I am not pro at dancing only! Yes! I agree I love dancing but I am only good at Bollywood style. Other than that the music has to be catchy. Its very necessary that I should love that song. I think there are a lot of forms which I don't know and Manisha(choreographer) is going to teach me. So its just the beginning...Talking about dreading a style, I love Salsa and I love watching people do it. I think its very sexy. Let's see if I'll ever be able to pull it off or no...

In terms of dancing, how much would you rate yourself on the scale of 10?

(Laughs) .0000001! In fact you should ask this question to my choreographer. Who was quick enough to prompt, "I would say 1 on 10 but I think its too soon to rate him now. We ll try and achieve a 10/10. Also, I am a very strict teacher and I will never give a high score to anybody. So lets start with 1 only and Mohit needs to work really hard! I am sure he will."

Who according to you is the toughest contender this season apart from yourself'?

Frankly I think all are great. When I saw their opening acts, I was literally stunned watching how everyone is so good! Everybody is so dedicated and young which I think is making this season the toughest season of Jhalak. I am scared. I wonder if I made the right choice in entering the show this year.(Laughs) But I will try my best, work hard and challenge myself to perform better.

Coming to the judges, who is your favorite judge?

Depends. For now everyone is my favorite. But Ganesh Hegde is very strict. He was too critical in judging our opening acts. Karan Johar is very experienced as a judge. He has been on Jhalak for the longest of time so he knows what's good, bad about the performance. He is so humble. I think he is one of the best judges we have.

Shahid Kapoor is making his television debut with Jhalak. How good is he as a judge?

Shahid is great! I became a fan of him only after Haider. He was so amazing in the film. As an actor very good work. As a judge, he is a lot of fun! You will get to know more about this through the episodes.

Were you nervous performing in front of Shahid?

Of course I was mainly because its for the first time I am performing on stage. But not just because of Shahid. I was equally nervous performing in front of Karan Johar, Lauren and the audience. All the judges are great, different in their own way

Madhuri Dixit, who was the face of Jhalak is no longer a part of the show. Were you aware about her exit when you were approached for the show?

No, not at all! I was in the impression that Madhuri will be there this season and signed up. But recently I got to know that she is not a part of the show anymore. I wanted her to be there. She has a wonderful smile. Though I have never met or worked with her but considering she was the face of Jhalak, I will miss her! Nevertheless, I am sure Shahid will lead his way this season!

A film with Karan Johar or a dance face off with Shahid - what would you choose?

Has to be a film with Karan Johar. But you never know. After completing two months on Jhalak, maybe then I can say confidently that I can dance.

Lastly, any plans of venturing Bollywood?

Yes I want to and I will! Pray for me!
