While Colors' much talkable show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8 is all set for its kick start this weekend, there are contestants who are juggling between shows and taking out time for the rehearsals as well. One of those is our lovable Simar aka Dipika Kakar who is all excited for showing her Jhalak as a dancer on the reality show.

We got in conversation with the actress to know about her passion for dance, how is she managing time between daily soap to reality show and much more

Earlier you have never participated in any reality shows, so why Jhalak Dikhla Jaa?

I love dancing even though I am not trained and hence Jhalak will be my training ground to learn dance. I see it like an intense dance workshop and sine I love dance; I am really looking forward to it.

You have gained lot of appreciation for your acting skills, and now you will be showcasing your dance talent. How are you preparing for it?

I am trying my best to balance between acting and dancing by shooting in the day time forSasural Simar Ka while I rehearse as much as I can in the nights. I am trying to be a good student and learn the most I can from my choreographer.

Will it be difficult for you to manage your daily soap Sasural Simar Ka with Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa?

It's going to be a challenge but I am up for challenges as that's when one can learn the most.

Talking about the Judging panel, to whose comment are you looking forward to?

I am looking forward to the comments from all our judges and dance gurus because each has their own specialty. While Shahid is an actor and a tremendous dancer, Ganesh is a choreographer while Karan has mastered the art of direction as well as acting and choreographer. Lauren on the other hand was one of us just a few seasons back so she understands the pressures of being a contestant. Each judge and mentor plays a crucial role. I'm looking forward to Lauren Gottlieb and Ganesh Hegde helping us as gurus while Karan Joharand Shahid Kapoor will be judging us.

What would you like to say about your fellow contestants, who are the toughest one according to you?

It's way too early to figure out who our toughest competitors are. I would rather just compete with myself!

Lastly, what are your expectations from the show?

I am expecting to learn a lot and enjoy myself! My two main motives for doing Jhalak is to learn dance and have a great time while learning!

Popular hunk Ashish Chowdhry, who recently took the trophy of Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns home by overcoming all the fears coming to his way, is now all set to overcome one more fear; but this time on the stage of Jhalak.

Yes, Ashish admits that he is not at all good at dancing and he used to get scared whenever he was asked to dance. This time Ashish would be seen dancing on the stage of Colors' popular celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa to overcome his fear of dance. In a conversation with TellyBuzz, Ashish shares more about his participation on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8...

Ashish shares, "I have always tried to be perfect with whatever I do but at the same time, I also realize that I am not a good dancer. Therefore, I will have to work harder here. I will work hard but it will require some time. I have done Khatron Ke Khiladi but dancing is like danger to me (chuckles). I always used to run away from the parties as soon as everybody used to call me for dancing. I feel that we should overcome all our fears and this would be a good platform for me to learn something and to make some friends as well. I am happy to be here. Earlier I used to get nervous but now I am enjoying it a lot."

"Surprisingly, I didn't get any injuries while doing Khatron Ke Khiladi but I fall down while doing my rehearsals for Jhalak because I skipped one move. It's difficult for me and I had said sorry to my choreographer for the same because I knew that it's going to be tough for her to teach me," added Ashish.

When we asked Ashish as who according to him is going to be the toughest competitor for him, he quipped, "I don't have any competitor here because I am the worst dancer on Jhalak. Earlier, I had thought that Vivian (Vivian Dsena) must not be a good dancer but I have seen him dancing. He is the Chupa Rustam. He is quite confident and a dear friend so I am quite happy for him but the title of the worst dancer goes to me only."

Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi fame Radhika Madan, after winning audience's heart as Ishani, is now all set to pursue her dream of dancing on the stage of Colors' popular celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8.

TellyBuzz quizzes Radhika to know more about her passion for dance, juggling between MSTH and Jhalak and much more...

Radhika shares, "Though I always wanted to train myself professionally, Meri Aashiqui shooting schedule wasn't giving me enough time. However, this time it has happened. Doing Jhalak is like a dream come true for me. I am working with an amazing choreographer and I am sure that he will bring out the best in me. I know that my dreams are going to be fulfilled here."

When we asked Radhika as how she is going to handle shooting and rehearsals, she said, "It's going to be very tough for me because our shoots are quite hectic. There are some scenes, especially emotional scenes that drain us from inside. Our energy level goes down after performing such kind of scenes but the word 'Dance' itself brings out a lot of energy within me. I always start rehearsing on my sets whenever I get some time in between the shots. It's fun and I am enjoying it a lot. I carry a pillow along with me. My set is far away from Jhalak house so I take a nap in my car while my driver drives. This is how I am managing things. I am working hard and I am hoping to get good results."

Recalling the day when Radhika came to the sets of Jhalak as a newbie to promote her show, she shared, "It feels amazing when I recall that day. I feel blessed that I got a chance to promote my show on the stage of Jhalak. Its funny that I was like lost and bit nervous then and now I roam all around freely as if its my home (smiles)."

When we asked Radhika that is there any form of dance that she would like to learn on Jhalak, she added, "I would love to do hip hop on the stage of Jhalak because it's the forte of my choreographer and being a tomboyish, I would like to do it."
