Simple mathematics like in clg, 60 marks for written 40 marks for assesment, Somebody got 60 in written n 30 in assesment total 90 but somebody got 50 in written n 40 in assesment total 90, So here it makes diffrent 60 u can take as performance marks n 40 as voting

As far as raking is concerned there could be three methods followed:-

1. Linear- As explained earlier raking given both in terms of votes and marks and added together. Example 6 contestant highest mark 6 points lowest 1 point. Similarly highest votes 6 points lowest 1 point.

2. Range- Each marks or votes converted to a range. Example 0-10000 votes 1 marks etc and added to the actual marks. Now the range is decided on how much voting is happening or vice versa 1 marks equals 10000 votes.

3. Weighted- This is based on a much complex formula which changes from program to program and week to week depending on how many votes comes in. Where every vote is put in the formula and converted into corresponding marks or vise versa.

Not sure which process is followed by JDJ or if they have devised any new method.

I am sure dat auditing takes place and votes are accounted for. Also I suppose online voting is taken into consideration and many may not spend money, but as online voting is free and I assume can be done multiple times, so celeb fans surely must be making use of it.

Hmm..ok..what I am saying is voting is a black box..we dont know what happened or happens..none of us know the actual ranking of the contestants correct? What I am saying is...colors know the trend..so we assume voting is trends are fixed..no manipulation...therefore, what is the lever which is in hands of the producers now? - Marks rt...thats why I say it is a trump card...because once u r aware of the voting ranges and ranks..you manipulate the marks to ensure your candidate is safe...

I dont get it..maine confuse kar diya hai kya...for my calculation i am assuming voting is a balck box for us to discuss hence assume whatever it is..is rt..

As far as marks given by the judges are concerned, again taking your assessment into consideration that marks are not given on the basis of performances, then possible reason could be that judges give marks as per the channel instructions coz though voting too is taken into consideration, but the channel wants to ensure that apart from popularity a particular contestant appears if not the best at least a gud dancer. Plus low marks could mean a face off where the contestants r totally at the mercy of the judges and more so the scrutinizing eyes of the viewers where their weaknesses can't be overlooked.

yes, marks are definitely manipulated..at times..i will not discredit all of the performances..for any contestant..

Also if we take the ranking into consideration. Suppose the most popular dancer has got the lowest score from the judges and hence has 1 point, but gets highest votes and hence has 6 points. So his/her average is 3.5 and it's vice-versa for another dancer so his/ her average is also 3.5...but the channel will not want a face-off between dem so I suppose manipulations in judges' marks.

Precisely my point...it is easier and less risky to manipulate the marks

i think they mentioned in the beginning it is 50%-50%...and what i am saying is the voting 50% is fixed or trends are obvious..so more u vote or less u vote won't change much..because...the channel manipulates on the marks and ensures preferred candidates hv an edge..and thereby i call marks the trump card..

I felt like i entered into an unknown world

Thanks to everyone who had explained the terms , i understood only then😳😳

@zephy : How do you make such topics ?? You actually think really deep ...

I never knew that votes were counted on relaitive scales in general ...i was thinking that they would count the total votes and the scores , su them and the person with least sum would be eliminated !

Thanks a ton! šŸ‘

I totally agree with you here whatever the method they employ they can save someone or put them into face off by manipulating their marks until and unless the voting trend changes that week.

Whatever the case but the bottom line is manipulations happen and contestants get chucked out or saved due to channel dynamics.šŸ˜‰
