Nobody has gone after DD fans... But the more DD fans continued abusing other fans, they only resorted to criticizing/joking/mocking DD the celeb more, which is absolutely fine.

Yes, in the process, all the fans get a bad name, because they went out in groups. If they were individuals, they could be singled out, but when you use groups, all the fans earn bad name, even if there were some sane people there, silent. If majority fans were against bashing other members, a small group couldn't have continued for so long.

And I couldn't agree with you more! 😃 Exactly! The celebs know that laurels and brickbats go hand in hand when they came into this profession! 😆 So I don't see why their fanbots are so butt-hurt when their favourites get criticised. And in retaliation they resort to calling names and hurling abuses! How very mature! And Silence_Gold talking about respect, LMAO. Respect which only applies to Drashti Dhami and no other celebrities! Lovely! For it didn't apply when she was calling Gurmeet Chaudhary's wife some colourful names and "bashing" Sobti and Sanaya Irani now did it.

Well I won't talk about only DD fans... but every fangirls 😆 They seem knowing the definition of RESPECT very well when it comes to their favourites but the definition changes when it's about other people 👏

Yeah, I was only talking about DD fans because this is about this forum and they are the biggest fanbase here. And I completely agree with you too! It's about all fanbases who are a little too extreme in their love for their favourite. They love to preach and lecture about respecting the dignity of a human being, but don't hesitate on abusing fellow members and bashing other actors! How hypocritical!

Even when you praise DD it's bashing and I have faced it 🤣
Chalo joh bhi ho at least I enjoy it with popcorns 🤣

IMO, That's a good suggestion 😊 But I'm not a basher to speak on their behalf. But reconciliation is definitely the way to move forward. 😊

But I feel, taking all joking/mocking/criticism of the celebs lightly as fun, should be the way. If that's inappropriate or not true, respond to that, argue with that and maintain your disagreement till you are convinced. Let the people make their opinions reading both pov. But please don't call that person names for not agreeing to you. You will get almost all the neutral people on your side. If you have a better evidence/reasoning. None likes to take a side who is abusive/illogical.

Respect of whom, Other Fans & Members of the forum or The stars?

I care for the respect of the members more than the stars.

Like; talking, mocking and joking with Salman licking her legs or Crush on Remo etc are not disrespect to the star, because she knew that this will be a talking point from the moment she decided to do it... So she basically wants people to talk about it.

But for doing what she wants, if her fans start abusing that person, that's disrespect.

Definition of respect is different for fans and public figures. When they play a role, they want it to be discussed, good or bad. That's how they become stars.

Fans or posters want their posts to be discussed if needed, not themselves. That's disrespect...

So, I do agree with your POV completely, but don't know if you also meant the same.

I agree with the point that members should be respected, I always support pure criticism and I dislike cyber bullying and I always was against it on IF, I agree on criticism even If to against my favorite, coz criticism help the person to improve, I didn't say anything when people say Drashti can't act, it was done in Madhubala forum and I hardly care, but I said line of respect should not be crossed, by using such words like bra size and teeth is yellow, is no way criticism, but making fun of physical appearance and to disrespect woman by talking in such way is no way acceptable, being it Drashti, Shweta, Aarti, etc... This only mean that this person has no respect for women... As a woman, I don't respect such act...

I know some people might argue, I only said my POV in this matter, so I don't want to stretch it... End of it...

@Bold: You got that wrong; that's the objective of his/her PR team or development team. Even the professional critics don't care if that will help him/her, and fans criticisms are never aimed at celeb's benefits, it's aimed at publics benefits and their interest & entertainment. Plus social impact if any.

@Blue: DD resembles a Bra size, while people are joking with that, you never know, that her PR team might pick that line to propagate on her behalf to boost her popularity amongst obsessed audience. They are in show business, since when criticizing or praising physical features of a celebrity has become a disrespect to women? That was way too decent. Celebrities earn with their looks along with their skills in the field. so they have nothing private, their physical looks, lifestyle everything impacts his/career and earning...so everything is up for discussion...there is nothing disrespectful in discussing a celebrity's look ...

@Red: Hope you understood, discussing a celebrity's look positive/negative has nothing to do with respect for a women. In that case, you have to shutdown the entertainment industry for women's respect. Only Bhakti channel will rule ..😆 In retaliation to that, when someone disrespects a male/female fan/Member on the forum, that's disrespectful, because she/he isn't a public figure/celebrity. She or he has the right to privacy from personal reference..

I don't agree on this, being celeb doesn't mean the person is not a human being, you would not like any to talk in this way to u or people close to u, while u do it with others, it's called hypocrisy...

Anyway, let's cut this discussion, as no one of us would agree and I don't want baseless arguments, we have enough of them in this forum...
