1. Lauren:

Not a flawless dance in my opinion. And my opinion differs from the judges significantly.
First thing the wheels: I didn't feel that the prop was used in the theme much.. they were wearing skates, now I am not saying that wheel had to be the theme but the dance had to be on the wheels.. whereas what they ended up doing is a lot of stationary movements...and wheels being used for just slides!!!.. I didn't see rotation on it, I didn't see stretches on it.. I didn't see any innovative steps with the wheels..
Having said that, i agree with judges that the concept was best of having body skates... but i think choreography failed ..
Dance wise.. not flawless.. first turn puneet leaves lauren hands.. with both dancers, not expected..
Overall could be so much better but yet overall a nice dance but one tends to expect more from these folks
My score: Prop: 3, Dance: 3, Emotions: 4 ( only for lauren's emotions) = 10/12
But yes given shaan also got 30 and everyone else got more than they deserved.. 30 is ok

2. KVB:

Airport Trolley and Suitcase
Loved Sneha's leap. Agree with Remo that a bit of more smooth body flow.. and it was a 10/10 performance.
Good usage of prop.. overall a nice performance
Score: Prop: 3, Dance: 3, Emotions: 3 ( i think KJo's point of everything being rushed is what resulted in this) = 9/12

3. Srikanth:

Super cute.. he was just jumping like we do in a party or shaadi when we don't know how to dance.. but he is sooo cute..
Give it up for the energy at this age and so much of jumping , if I could do 10% of it.. I owuld be 10 Kgs down.. 😃
No points from my side...but for energy I would give him 5/4
Danced with Mads on 1,2,3.. she is looking good today
And you realize after his points why everyone had to be given more than they deserved.. 😉

4. Kids:

Easily the best performance of the week dance wise...
Good use of prop in the sense it was always there.. dance revolved around it..
My score: Prop: 3 , dance: 3.5 😉 ( ya breaking the rule) ( they are professional dancers), energy: 4 = 10.5/12..
BEST PERFORMANCE!!! ( although my score for shaan is more.. but performance wise kids anyday)
People tend to talk about sonalika the most.. but i would make a special mention to quickly becoming my fav the boy!(sumant).. what a dancer and how he supports... in these dances the guy is very important..
Also, few moments.. were awesome.. simply awesome.. specially a flying piece..
Also, since its contemprory I will compare it to Drashti's and others.. others in comparison coul dhave had more lifts..
Agree with Remo..choreo is good..

5. Ekta:

Huge change!
Now we told her that technique comes later and emotions come first.. so ya a little bias.. but she deserves the motivation...
What a b'ful lady..
Good use of prop.. and i think today she concetrated on emoting so sort of lost on technicality.. you could see she was thinking the steps.. there were goof ups.. But my baby!!.. What a performance now that you know how to emote and nervousness is gone.. you will be a gem!!!! you have the best choreo.. you grasp the techicalities better than any other contestants.. but lauren.. so babes go!!!!
My score: Prop: 2.5, dance: 2 ( she has danced better) , emotions: 3 ( anything is beat expectations!) = 7.5/12
I hope she stays on.. and is not evicted.. but good thing is since this time elimination is all about faceoff.. hopefully they will stay..

6. Shweta:

Jazz not her forte clearly.. still commendable for trying something new.. because unlike partner dance here you are supposed to perform your own steps.. so for that.. 👏
Song: from talaash..
Prop: chair on wheels.. very nice..could have been really good had execution been perfect..
Expressions.. bravo.. i think she suits these dance form more..
Postures.. not correct.. I think technicality is where things went wrong..I would like to see her do Jazz again.. I really would.. learning a jazz walk itself would take 3 hrs to get the basic attitude right
Good for remo to put the choreographer in place.. he needs to improve his act..
My score: Prop: 3 , dance: 1 ( as far as jazz is concerend.. can't give more.. sorry.. but i really appreicate her effort..), emotions: 3 ( she was classy very classy.. and getting jazz attitude or emotions is not easy)...= 7/12
I think for some time she needs to stick to contemprory or swing dance.. like salman and cornell are playing on.. and that is much easier...

Manish and Kapil have started to gel in. Today the connect was clearly there.
Forget judges.. our anchors have found a chemistry between them.. and its good because finally all the time that they are talking, the focus is on them only as the jokes are directed at each other.. 😆..absolutely love it!
Sunny leone came to deliver the news of who is out.. with a dance.. okish dance.. but she is pretty.. and ofcourse.. finally after so much flirting when Manish thought she was responding.. there played the " Bhai-Behen" song.. 😆
Cheeka's entry was nice.. love this man anyways.. so ya hope to see him for some time..

Dude!.. This man is awesome..
First thing that hits you is the fact he is always smiling.. you never feel the effort he is putting in the dance
Prop: German Wheel and they did the justice to it..
It was a breathtaking ( well it was a brilliant dance)... you can get lost watching it..
I have nothing to say.. but one of those performances in JDJ you would wanna watch again.. it was perfect..
BTW, look at shaan's footwork.. every step perfect...fully deserved 30
My Score: Prop: 3, dancing: 4, energy: 4 = 11/12

2. Aarti:

Nothing wowed me here.
Although judges enjoyed use of Prop, I didn't.. it was ok but not so great.. the thing was they were playing on one line of the song.. " Zameen chalne lagi"
Even Aarti's performance.. look for minute things.. shoulder does slouch at times and footwork not perfect..
And yet, it is a nice performance overall.. my only comment is on the prop.. would have want to see slightly more movement.. there were too many static moments..
You can always make out that she has put in a lot of efforts.. but here's a thing.. while dancing viewer should not feel that.. refernce Shaan. This was lesser than last week's performance
My score: Prop = 2, Dance = 2, Emotions= 2 = 6/12

3. Drashti:

First and foremost, thank god for Remo's comments..atleast I can be sure this time it is not a salman fan club..had he not made that comment, it would be disappointing
Disappointing usage of Prop, they either took an easy way out or focused too much on theme and forgot the theme
Another thing, for a neutral viewer this may irk a lot of people- for every celebrity you are showing their practice in the Jhalak house.. then whats the need to bring in Drashti's morning to evening life!!!.. that shows how hard is the channel is trying to promote her..
Next, if a celebrity has too much on her plate that;s her problem, not ours or other contestants.. whether channel forced her to take up dancing along with work or she herself did it.. don't sell that as a sympathy story. Period.
Coming to the performance.. from the choreographer;s end.. prop usage disappointing, but dance choreography and theme.. absolutely wonderful..😃
Coming to Drashti.. every little thing is taken care of.. footwork is good, emotions were good.. these guys defintiely lost it because of the prop..
Lastly, I would want to see Drashti to have more steps alone.. like individual pieces too.. haven't seen salman giving her much of that opportunity but real test is when we see her individual performances too..
My score: Prop: 1, dance: 3 ( it is beat given last week's 😉), emotions: 3 ( that was perfect) = 7/12

4. Meghna:

Before I talk about her, I compared waltz performance last time of Drashti and kids.. I am comparing her and Shweta from last time.. and Meghna wins hand down..
If you are doing Bollywood or easier dances.. you have to have a spike somewhere..
She danced on Antepuram.. and man!.. she remind syou again and again that expressions are her strong point..
Madz danced with her on khalnaayak's song.. aha!.. see the change in expressions of Madz compared to the nice girl acts in last few performance.. and you know why she is dancing queen
Choreo was ok.. nothing so great.. Prop was a bullock cart - ok usage nothing so great.. but the song and energy made up for that!
Score: Prop= 2, Dance = 2, Energy = 3 = 7/12

4.Sid:

lol.. what happened..these guys lost it because of the theme.. totally
Multiple props used in a doctor's clinic setting.. good idea.. but total disconnect in how or why the prop was being used..dancing not so great.. funny enough even sonia faltered at places..
Nothing much to say actually.. not a good performance
My Score: prop: 2 ( atleast they used it 😃), dancing: 1 ( worse than last), energy: 2 = 5/12

JUDGES:

Mads need to get tough as far as dance evaluation is concerned. Else at times as a viewer it gets difficult for me to take her comments seriously and I feel she is just being nice..
Kjo copies Remo's comments... 😆
Today, Remo's comments atleast made me a little more comfortable of him being critical this time

Between Ektaa and Suresh..
Ekta's choreo is super good but woman, I agree you are beautiful; but for heaven;s sake EMOTE!!!!.. with this choreographer any one else would have been so better... he is clearly one of the best.. ( they danced on jiya jale jaan jale )...

Lovely review dear.

It seems Shaan is turning out to be quite a revelation on Jhalak. I havent seen him dance yet but after reading your review I will definitely try to catch it online. He is the first participant on JDJ6 who has got a 30 after all.

I have liked DD's performance on award shows and I know she will do much better in the coming days. But I do agree with your points

Why is colors putting so much of unnecessary effort. DD will do well in the coming days and she has Salman who has given such brilliant performances in the previous seasons. There have always been celebrities who work on a daily soap and participate on Jhalak. Nothing new and does not need to be mentioned on Jhalak.

I have always been a fan of Meghna's expressions and that will play a key role in her performances.

I find SID very stiff. He will get evicted in few weeks.

I know wonder why channel is busy runing drashti's performances.. frankly anyone would love her dancing but for this extra stupid stuff from colors would only make people get more judgemental about her performance.. it leaves a bad taste...

Also, this time is a test for salman too.. can he up the game with an average contestant who is at par with everyone else..

Drashti, i am sure would improves drastically because you can see how good and quick learner she is... I mean practicing only for 3 hrs and doling out such beautiful performances is creditworthy!

drashti-fabulous dancing...weak use of prop but for that i think she deserved a 27..she was perfect..her choreographer was at fault for not incorporating the prop more

sid-bad dancing...he needs to loosen up..but what a charmer...

sid and drashti have grueling 12 hour shifts which leaves them with only a couple of hours to practice each day...thats not an excuse but a fact and one appreciates their hard work..the other 3 who performed today, are devoting all their time to jhalak...that is definitely an advantage.

Shaan : I agree on your point that choreography is oft repeated like most of contemprory is... pick any dance style from DID.. 😃.. but having said that.. the only thing I am comparing is use of prop and not choreography.. given whatever choreography was the celebrity able to do it..

Arti: I completely agree with you , not a 27 performance

Meghna: definitely great stuff.. but not a 30.. because at the end of the day.. did i see something spectacular off their usage of prop or complex dance steps = NO

Drashti:bit is that the week has a theme.. and that's binding.. people can perform brilliant breath taking performances.. but then what's the point of having a challenge.. if you completely ignore it! so in my opinion 27 would be unjustified.. however.. drashti's performance was good.. failed by her choreographer this time..

On Sid and Drashti, many actors in past have done that...managed it.. but it can't be sold as a sympathy story. If you can't manage it then leave dance.. come when you would have time. However, if channel stops promoting in my opinion drashti would get an advantage on this point because if 3 hrs practice can yield such nice performances.. then its wonderful!

Your analysis is bang on!! That is how exactly I felt! I don't think Shaan deserved 30! His steps were too simple! They were not even doing much, except for the timing of those wheels had to be bang on, but for that I thin they deserved 27, as u said! Drashti on the other hand, deserved that 27! B/c she lost her point on the lack of use of wheels, but apart from that she danced beautifully today, and her choreography was much harder than anyone else today.

Siddharth needs to buck up! I was satisfied withe the scores for him! Meghna is the dark horse I believe. I always enjoy her performance and she has such a magnetic personality that it automatically pulls u. But, I would give her 25 or 26. Aarti didn't at all deserve that 27!! In her whole dance, I only liked the ending!! I felt judges aren't doing their bit and aren't honest with their marks! They seem to be just giving scores for the sake of it! It is like 3 of them got 27! I think that's unfair compared to the amount of hours Drashti put in and if I compare it to Aarti. Drashti deserved that 27! But, Aarti didn't!

I am actually am more excited for KVB and Lauren's performance! I feel these 2 have that power to win this competition! I am a Drashti fan through and through! But, I would really like to see her individuality in the performances. It seems like Salman really isn't giving her that much to perform by herself. I really want that performance from her where she shines through! But, keeping in mind she gets on 3hrs daily, I think she is doing it brilliantly with that! I know that sympathy and all is biased. But, if the judges keep up with the scores they giving to the contestants, I feel that one's practice of how many hours per day should be kept in mind! Because any performance requires a lot of practice and hard work! And, for that one needs time! I am satisfied with her performances so far, putting that many number of hours and still getting an average of 26 or 27. I am happy for her!

Below is my opinion as a non-dancer viewer-

1. Shaan: My Score: Prop: 4, dancing: 3, emotions: 4, choreography: 4 (Marischa is awesome 👏)= 15/16

2. Aarti: My score: Prop: 3, Dancing: 3, Emotions: 2, choreography: 2.5= 10.5/16

3. Drashti: My Score: Prop: 1, dancing: 3, emotions: 3, choreography: 1(all the dancing was done by Drashti, while Salman was standing idle for most of the time. Drashti did way better than last week; but Salman was disappointing)= 8/16

4. Meghna: My Score: Prop: 2, dancing: 2, emotions: 4, choreography: 2.5= 10.5/16

4.Sid: My Score: Prop: 2, dancing: 1, emotions: 1, choreography: 2= 6/16

Face off:

1. Suresh: My Score: Dancing: 1, emotions: 4, choreography: 1= 5/12

Shaan is a treat to watch. His smile makes up for whatever little mistakes he makes here and there. His choreographer very smartly took up that german wheel and choreographed some real wonderful moves to which Shaan did full justice.👏

Aarti is a good dancer but I didn't really like her performance.It was a so-so act for me.🥱

Drashti's performance was nice if u forget that they were supposed to use a prop. Nice concept, wonderful expressions.
And on one thing I completely agree with you. Too much of something is never good. And this Drashti Drashti has annoyed me to the point that I can't enjoy her performances. They need to start differentiating b/w madhubala and drashti.😕

I loved Meghna. She gave some really wonderful expressions and being a non-dancer, her moves were quite good👏

Sid..what the hell was he doing? His dance was NOT AT ALL good! Last time the 3D thing covered up for his poor dancing skills, but today it became clear that he has got two left feet. The choreography was also not good. Sonia needs to buck up. And yeah..the yoga did no good to Sid 😆

Ekta will be eliminated soon. She's not a bad dancer and with that choregrapher she can learn a lot and do wonders BUT she always carries that dead pan expression on her face. It looks like only her body is dancing and mind is somewhere else. Being an actor she should know better about expressions and all.😲

Suresh Menon..He deserved to get eliminated. He was the weakest of them all. He forgot half of his steps and his performance was just plain bad.

The way salman used the prop was disappointing ... But hey even sachin gets out on zero ... so no worries im sure he will bounce back (i thought remo was biased with him acc to half of the world ) well if i leave the prop it was 30/ 30 performance for me ,, They shudnt have shown her schedule ... i agree ...its colors fault though ! Wont comment on rest much ...but i guess shaan' perf deserved 27 maximum !
