When a producer hires an actor and say ... I have seen him or her in such show and thought that person is perfect for a certain role doesn't mean the producer spends his time watching each and every episode.

Maybe his mom watches and he sees it here and there when she's watching...I'm not a fan of cricket, but when my dad watches sometimes i also watch, so i know the cricketers...something like that probably.
